Yes, that's how many cups of tea in total us Brits drink in a day, every day. What would the total be without Joinees?

150,000,000? Sounds about right. :D

I can personally attest to drinking 15-20 cups of tea a day at work, and probably making other people double that number. Who'd work in IT, eh? ;)

During exam time I drink about 40 cups of coffee a day. I'm not a tea man to be honest.

I've had 2 cups today already......by the end of the day i'm aiming for 8 - 9 cups. However, boredom might increase this number.

Surely aiming for the bowl would be more hygenic?

I'm sorry. Talk of so much tea drinking just keeps making me think of how many trips to the loo you inevitably have to make once you have drunk them. It is not any type of fantasy. It is a fact.

No Tor, no.

This wasn't a tea appreciation thread - no siree - Curfew asked what the total would be without joinees. I'm just pointing out that if I had my way, it would be considerably less.

You mean like:

150,000,000 cuppas, sitting on a wall
150,000,000 cuppas, sitting on a wall
But if one sole cuppa, did accidentally fall
There'd be 149,999,999 cuppas, sitting on the wall

Oh - and tea is posh pond-water.

Water? Check.
Brown due to infusion of dead organic matter? Check.

It's alright if you put enough sugar in to mask the taste and protect your teeth from the tanin though
