What made me smile today was lovely kisses from my little boys as they went to nursery.

Another source of smiles is the kindness of Joinees. I can't wait for August.
But, I will.

Just because you made me think of them. Haven't had any crisps in a while.

* Boys
* Work. I just love my work. I made a big decision last month that I based purely on the fact that I love my job, and luckily now that I've had some more time to mull that over, I'm convinced that I was right and I really DO love my job. It is hard and stressful and bits of it aren't fun sometimes, but most of all it is so much fun and I adore it. And I adore my team. They get me, and when they don't get me they appreciate me for my un-get-able-ness. I've been there over 2 years and I still feel so lucky that I get to walk into that office every day. So that is what is making me smile today.

The bus driver on the return trip. I stepped to the door to get off and he grabbed my hand and said, "Hold on , smiley, until the bus comes to a complete stop." He must have been watching me smile! I patted him on the shoulder and told him to have a wonderful night. He was very kind while driving, paying it forward by allowing cars to merge in front of the bus. You'd be surprised how many drivers didn't let him have the right-of-way although it's a state law.
And, trip planning.
That is all.
Not really, but it's certainly enough!

Hurrah for saving the economy!
Before I had kids I could always say my house was clean but not necessarily tidy. Now it is bordering on neither. Hopefully this will help. She starts a 4 week trial on Monday so wil see :-)

I have to confess to a certain pleasure in ringing the first company , cancelling the order, despite their gibbering protest of "But we have got an update for you" and telling them that I would be very glad if they would refund my money immediately, and make arrangements to pick up the wrong lights at my convenience! Now just praying for a smiley Friday! Mum White.

Also had a lovely morning with my new gardener/odd job man putting up coat hooks, notice boards etc and drinking tea. He is the best odd job man ever.
He's getting married at the end of the year so we had a good old chat about venues etc. Mum White.

I know we do it every week now, but it always makes me smile and remember back to the days when we hardly ever went out because of kids/lack of money. There was a time when we decided that we would try to go out once a month. We couldn't always manage it. I am blessed with such a happy life now. - Well, it wasn't unhappy then, it was still fun, I guess it's just very easy now.
