...send vibes my way for Monday a.m.

First day of school. Start at 8 in the morning. Will consume excessive amounts of caffeine to stay awake for Algebra.

The next two classes will appeal. Human Communications and Psychology. One of my books is a rebuttal of all things pseudoscientific and paranormal.

It's going to be an interesting and challenging semester.

I would really be thankful for your thoughts here.

Here.

Please?

Fingers will be crossed for you!

I hope you get to meet some excellent new people. That was always the bit I liked best about the start of new classes :)

At my age I want school to be fun. I have personalized my class notebooks. Tell me what you think!

Thank you. Your input and vibes  mean a great deal to me. I received an email from my Psych instructor welcoming me to his class. I know it's a mass message but I thought it was pretty dang coolish. :rainbow:

Thank you, Lou and David.

Important tidbits of information for those of you considering returning to school after a couple decades away:

#1. Not all busses flagged 535 Ltd. are going in the right direction. Some of them will actually take you north to downtown Minneapolis when you would much rather be heading south where your school is. D'OH. Just ask me. I know ALL about it.

#2. When your instructor states that she will give extra credit if you can hold onto the original syllabus she hands out in class on the first day until the end of term, then, by golly, don't lose that bitch. Just ask me. I know full well how to misplace a syllabus. And on the very first day, too.

#3. Don't panic. Shit happens. Roll with the changes. Get on the bus going south. Email your instructor about the syllabus. Have a bowl of oatmeal. Remind yourself that this is only the first day. ^_^

#4. Study more than you play on the computer.

With that I bid you adieu. xoxo

Haha you should write a book about it! You're only one day in and it sounds like it'd be a highly entertaining read :)

Oh, Rachel, I do hope everything is going well and you have settled into your programme of study. I missed all the beginning, as I have been away. Your note books look gorgeous. I love pretty books as it makes me want to do really good work in them :) Do let us know how you are getting along. Mum White xxx
