Did anyone else watch this on Channel 4 on Wednesday?

I couldn’t believe my eyes – not because of Richard’s condition, but at the appalling way Richard was treated by his community. Just a small act of human kindness towards this man years ago, or at any time until now, could have helped him on his way to recovery. It’s disgusting that it took a tv crew to come in to make the village interested in helping him.

The man named Andy gives me faith in humanity.

Andy was wonderful. I just thought the way he dealt with it was so brilliant.

Such an upsetting programme though, poor poor man.
The greatest danger for most of us is not that our aim is to high and we miss it, but that it is too low and we reach it.

Never look down on someone unless you're helping them up.
