Can you help protect the animals of Egypt from poisoning and abuse? British animal lover protecting animals in Egypt is going broke

Hi Joinees,

I've just returned from a holiday in the Red Sea resort of Dahab in Egypt near Sharm El Sheikh. I was appalled by the animal cruelty there, and stopped some men there kicking a stray dog to death. The cats and dogs there are routinely poisoned, (a horrible painful death), and tortured for fun.

When I returned, I found an English lady Janet Johnson on the internet, she has dedicated her life there to helping. She cares for over 250 dogs and some cats in a dry river bed, but is going bankrupt. Her situation is made worse by tourists bringing animals to the shelter with the promise they will support them and then never hearing from them again.

Janet needs donations, volunteers and people to adopt these animals in the UK. I'm planning to go to volunteer soon if you'd like to join me, maybe over xmas?
