I am hoping to make some (more) christmas tree decorations. I wasnt sure if I should machine sew the felt shapes together, or hand sew them. I was watching that Kirsties Handmade whatever on the telly last night and she made a heart garland using the same kind of principle as I wanted for my dinosaur ornaments. She used Bondaweb, and then hand sewed the edges. Thing is, Kirstie used just normal fabric whereas Im using felt. Does anyone know if Bondaweb would work on felt??? I tried asking this on a crafts forum too but noone is responding. Though maybe some lovely crafty joinees might know. Thanks!!!! Xxx

Yes, definitely I created a multiple colour felt motif on a cotton top for a christmas present a few years ago. It works really well.

Someone on a crafts forum told me that Kirstie only used bondaweb for her garland because its stops the fabric from fraying (and that obviosly doesnt happen woth felt) so, I just hand sewed my dino ornaments together. And here they are :)

Nice! My aunt made some like that for us kids back in the day - snowmen and camels. She also made stockings for each of us, and a great skirt for the bottom of the tree. We've still got them, and they're our favorites.
