In the interests of catching everyone up, here's what you've missed since we last met:

Laura had her 30th birthday. This makes her very old, and everyone should mock her. I worked wonders for it.

I have begun watching the US X Factor. I know that isn't hugely manly, but I like talent, and some of the people on there make me shiver. Drew Posted Image

Israel swapped one prisoner for one thousand prisoners. To me, this means one of two things - either the Israelis believe that they are each worth a thousand Palestinians, which isn't beyond the realms of possibility, to be honest, or he was a shiny.

Betty from Coronation Street died.

I grew marginally more awesome.

Anything else guys?

I got employee of the month again.

Christmas II happened but I didn't go.

I did a 38hr shift at the SFL film festival, in which a friend of mine set her boobs on fire & I saw another woman staple a cape onto her back.

I bought & completed RAGE.

I have completely caught up on all my TV (Downton Abbey, The Fades, Dexter, House & The Good Wife)

We went to see 'I'm Sorry I Haven't A Clue' being filmed & met Jack Dee backstage because we snuck back there to use their loo.

Also lots of stuff happened in the news that you all know about already.
CHEESE AND WIIIIIIINE!!!

Christmas II was ace. A bit of the tat now lives permanently in my office because I gifted it to someone at work who loves that kind of stuff. She is very happy. (She's the one that lent me a Little Donkey to bring along for the festivities!)

And I discovered that my work Christmas do is the night before K10. This probably doesn't affect you much, but it messes with all my plans. Not that I'd made any plans yet. But I sense them being messed with.

Underwent a soul-searching pilgrimage here (by which I mean 'sat somewhat uncomfortably in the back seat for a couple hours') - where the banshees live, and they do live well.

And a big thank you to those who fixed up the forum!

I now work at rock city! wahoo! paid to watch gigs :)
Although the rig (where many ggf goers like to hang on a saturday night, the downstairsy bit of city) has had a refurb and is now a cocktail lounge with dubstep music and zero-10 customers. Looks pretty though.

Having seen him on Friday night, I can confirm that Shiny appears to have suffered no long-lasting effects during his imprisonment. And there we thought he was training to be an accountant...

In other news, I got told off for cleaning my car headlights in the dishwasher.

That's nothing, you should have heard the verbal I got for taking a roof-rack of dirty crockery through the car-wash!
