From the top, things my corrupt uncle seems to think may be worth a viewing.

The Playboy Club - looks like a 60's drama about said club with bunnies and killings and all that shenanigans.

Glee season 3 started last night

House season 8 also

New Girl - Zooe Deschanel in a tv series, need I say more.

Ringer - Sarah Michelle Gellar's back and this is her new series.

Awkward - looks like it's worth a look

2 Broke Girls - not sure about this, going to give it's pilot a view.

Alphas - bit late on this one but looks promising and also reccomended by Gaz's uncle

Unforgetable - Woman police lass who can't forget anything and can remember everything she's told except one thing.......

And finally, Karaoke Battle USA - When they get that show over here I'll hit that so hard it will need the future king of england to pull me out :)

also a quick question has anyone watched Haven ? any good ? it's in season 2 now and it's being touted as a x-files replacement.....

Any news when Alphas is gonna be on UK TV? Or is still only just on US? (Ahhh, Callum...)

Psych Series 6 is starting very soon too. God I love that show. I've still got all of series 5 to watch first though, I'm saving it for a bit, don't want to be too greedy and watch the newness too soon. I've got 4 whole series to revel in for a little while.

Most importantly

Community - TOMORROW
Parks and Recreation - TOMORROW
Woot.

also
The Mentalist - tomorrow
Supernatural - starts Friday
Archer - started last Thursday

Akward- starts off interesting and then peters out into standard American teen comedy (of the 'I want this boy to like me' vareity)

epguides.com is brilliant for american airdates.

And here's a 2 part article from the AV club that ocvers most of the major new shows for this season.

It looks pretty slim pickings but there are a few I'll be checking out (including new Will Arnett comedy).

Funnily enough, my corrupt uncle was going to post something very similar this week!

Alphas is bloody excellent and getting progressively better - like Heroes, only it doesn't go rubbish (though to save Lou some time, CKR gets killed in the third episode). Gary is the best TV character ever, and to make it just that bit cooler it also exists in the same universe as the equally excellent Warehouse 13, which we've just watched Season 1 of and are starting on Season 2.

House will start October 4th - this will be the first season without Cuddy so it'll either be great now they don't have to faff around with romance or go down the tubes. However, as Hugh Laurie is excellent I'm betting on the former.

CSI: Cheers (now with added Ted Danson) starts tomorrow, CSI: Lieutenant Dan's had a facelift on Saturday and CSI: Sunglasses on Monday.

Family Guy (I'm giving it three episodes and if it isn't funny this season I'm giving up, as last season was dreadful) also starts on Monday

The Simpsons also starts on Monday - and if you think it's not funny anymore then you've obviously not watched it in years as it's well out of the dry patch it had.

Terra Nova (Spielberg, time travel, dinosaurs - how could it possibly go wrong?) starts on Tuesday. And if you didn't watch it this summer, Falling Skies is well worth tracking down too.

There's also half a season left of Adventure Time with Finn and Jake too. Which, as it's the best thing ever, you should probably watch.

Oh yeah, and some zombie thing called The Walking Dead starts October 31st. Can't think why they'd pick that day ;)

Getting killed in the 3rd ep suits me fine. Better than getting killed after 10 minutes, but means I don't have to keep remembering to watch it for months in the hope he might come back ;)

Oooooo exciting about the Mentalist coming back. Wonder how long we have to wait for it to hit UK shores (my uncle isn't very savvy with this stuff). I want to see how that goes.

And Gaz's post has reminded me that there's a couple of eps of CSI: Callum for me to look out for too one day. I assume he dies after 2 episodes of that one.

Castle was good, I forgot how intense the end of season 3 was! But Archer has taken the hotspot at the moment, the last two episodes have been amazing.

Can someone tell me when The Big C starts up again in America?

season 2 started on 27 June, its up to episode 12 now (according to IMDB)

Edit: I don't know what an Edisope is...

I have recently discovered Lost Girl, which I am quite enjoying, its like Laurell K Hamilton without being the pure porn that the books are

Yep - the Warehouse 13 doctor was in the Alphas episode with the woman who could make people addicted to her playing the same character.
