So, Bioshock was pretty good I thought. But I didn't feel it needed a sequel, especially one the sales pitch for which was "You get to play as a Big Daddy!" when
Spoiler

Which is why I didn't buy it until a few months ago when it popped up for £3 in a Steam sale. And I just started playing it at the weekend. It's actually pretty good & ties in with the first game quite nicely. It's very formulaic & doesn't offer much beyond the first one, but there are a few gameplay differences (lots of trap setting & holding defensive positions), especially if, like me, you try & play the Big Daddy role a bit & specialise in melee.
It's not very hard either. I must have clocked up 6 or 7 hours over the last few days & it would seem I'm over 3/4 through.
But worth a play if you can get it cheap & don't worry about it ruining your mental Bioshock canon, as I did. It won't.
CHEESE AND WIIIIIIINE!!!
