I know Mark (John and mines old flatmate, the one with the giant ginger hair) isn't a joinee anymore and doesn't visit the forum, but for those of you who remember him, he's just had a baby boy. Isaac John Hopkins, 7lb 13oz.

Can only assume the middle name is after Westy :)

Oh my goodness. We've just had our weekly pub, and Mark popped along for a bit,looking a bit bedraggled (he hasn't slept in 36 hours. Silly boy) we all had champagne (I am a bit tiddly) and the sweaty once-a-year Mark hug.

And as it turns out, the John part of his name IS for my John. I very nearly cried. It was Emma who suggested John as a middle name, and Mark apparently assumed for the many john's in her family, to which she replied "no, for your totally non gay life partner John"

I was cheeky and took far more than my single annual Mark hug tonight!




I also nicked the champagne bottle from the pub and I'm going to make them a bottle bowl from it.

I just frickin love everything and everyone right now. We have a baby. And not in a feaky i-want-to-steal-your-baby kind of way, in a Mark and that lot are my family kind of way. And ey've extended our family.
(this may slightly be the champagne talking)

Not that I witnessed the spectacle, but I am reliably informed that Isaac appeared from mark's girlfriend's downstairs lady furniture.
