If past form is anything to go by, Friday evening is spent down the pub, usually The Crown as its right by Liverpool Lime Street Station.

During the Saturday, the RAOK usually takes place, with the pub in the evening (often the Pilgrim as we can hire the room!)

Then Sunday and Monday are usually weather dependant! There was a picnic on the Sunday 2 years ago, and last year everyone went to Jamie's studio to do some archery!

As far as I'm aware though, there are no definite plans yet, so watch this space!

Edit: Typo!

As you may or may not know, we unfortunately can't get the Pilgrim this year.

HOWEVER.

This is still going to be a great opportunity to show that Join Me is alive and well! The plans will probably depend on numbers, so go and stick yourself on the roll call. If you do, an iced bun may appear in front of you.

We CAN get the Pilgrim. They left me a message earlier. I'll need to get back to them soon...

Generally on the Sunday we've woken up hung over, all met up somewhere and done something, there's been a picnic with cricket, one time we all just hung out in town and some people went to watch some F1 at the cinema for a few hours. Generally Sunday is just a big easy. Monday is similar except lots of people go home and then after everyone else leaves, Heather remembers that she doesn't really live with us, and leaves as well.

Yep, Sunday is relaxed. There has been a request for us to go to the Big World Buffet Thing (not its actual title) which has many foods. Many, many foods.

So gutted I can't make this. Many many foods sounds great. Can you do it next year? I'll buy a wedding dress a size too big so I can eat lots and lots.

Any definite plans yet? Myself and Phil may not be able attend anything on the Friday night - I will just have finished my degree, and I expect to be horribly drunk with my course buddies in town! :P

Hello all,

There are no plans, sadly, such is the paucity of attendees, so we're taking Loverpool 2.5 as a blueprint.

Tomorrow, we'll be meeting at Chevasse Park (the bit of Liverpool One where they have fairground and food booths sometimes) at 1pm, and we'll take it from there. Rather than a RAoK challenge, we'll go back to basics, and try and raise some smiles in the city.

There will be regular breaks for libations, and we'll be enjoying ourselves with or without you ;)

If anyone feels the need, or desire, to come and surprise us for the day, at any point over the weekend, just let us know. My number is O797I39I7S2, where letters are the numbers they look like.

See as many of you as possible soon.

Wish we could have "signed up", but house move is taking up all our time & money & will continue to do so for a few more months. I'm sure you can relate.

sorry I won't be able to make it now. Despite still not having children thanks to the lovely people who broke into and vandalised my dads house I will now be spending today trying to drag waterlogged carpet out.

I'm sorry, I'm there in spirit. Too short notice - I should've joined earlier in the year.

As soon as you have dates for next year, I'll make sure I'm off work 'cos it sounds like fun :) .

And @Pud - poor you :( . That's horrible. My Gran got burgled last year and I know what an awful feeling it is. Sympathy thoughts and *hugs* coming your way.

Sorry Gemma I should have been clearer, it's just most here already know. My dad died just before christmas so the house is actually empty. but it is a complete mess, they have ripped out all the copper pipes, boiler and even celings. They broke off the copper pipe below the stop tap and left water gushing out.

Helen thats awful, its disgusting how some people will behave!!

On topic, i had an AMAZING time, so much food, so much drink, the best company and it still stands as my favourite meet despite low turn out at least there was no fighting (except sean and laura, but thats adorable)

I highly recommend sean's lesser known pub tour of liverpool and I (ME!) won a game of pool!!!

Xxxxx

Oh Gemma, Sean decided he is keeping you so you will be well lokked after at future meets :-D

Oh that really is awful :( . Why are some people so horrible. Big virtual hugs, I wish I could help in some way :( .

And Hebba, aww, that's sweet :) . I'll appreciate it, as I always get nervous meeting new people, though since reading 'Yes Man' I'm trying to be more outgoing. All you guys seem lovely so far, and have made me feel very welcome :) .
