Really can't be bothered to go and see this. If I'm going to see a "big bad men blowing things up" film this summer it will be Expendables.

At least Expendables looks so bad it is good.

A Team just looks a bit "Bof"

From the trailer the Expendables looks like it's trying to be gritty in places, making the characters slog through hell. Where-as the A-Team was just all about big silly set pieces designed to make you cheer.

Alas - my hopes for The Expendables being so bad its good have been dashed by the ever-reliable Ultra Culture.

So Maybe I shall watch the A Team.

I really enjoyed it, I thought that the casting was excellent as each of the new guys made their character their own, I didn't once think they were trying to copy the original.

Patrick Wilson (Lynch) didn't half remind me of Jeff Anderson though (Randall in Clerks).

I really liked this - action films aren't really my type of film but there were enough funny bits to keep me amused and not mind all the big explosions.

I watched The A Team concerned it'd be bloody awful, but apart from the slightly rushed and way too convenient (and hence unlikely) setup it was actually much better than I thought it'd be. They built stuff, they came up with moronic schemes, and it was all good fun. Shame it seems to have been billed as a flop, as I think it was nicely set for a sequel.

Also, The Expendables trailer had so many fast cuts, it made me feel slightly ill. And if you're hoping to see Willis and Schwarzenegger and have seen the trailer, well you've pretty much seen their whole bit. Which is why I think it's somewhat cheeky they're being billed as if they're in the rest of the movie. I think the "real" Expendables will be Machete with Danny Trejo. Heck, they've even got Steven Seagal as the bad guy!
