I will naturally become a Heat-magazine obsessed fan as usual for about a week. Then I will keep up to date with evictions and watch the final.

What Hannah said - I LOVES IT. Also have been watching all the BB crap on E4 the last couple of nights, ahhh magic. I love BB! Am so excited. Also what does everyone think about the stings they've been showing - flowers?! flowers?! SO CONFUSING AND EXCITING!!!

no. 2010 is with the exception of comic relief / children in need style spin offs, i think.

i too watch big brother and have done since it began. it's an interesting social experiment and i like to pick my favorite housemate. one or two have genuine reasons for going in there!

i know, Neil, i always know when it's BB time because of the eye avatar! sigh.

i accidentally made plans for tomorrow night. now, do i cancel seeing my friend who is about to go to Israel for 2 months or do i go out and miss the last ever launch night?! it's a dillema which i'm fairly sure i'm going to disgrace myself with.

No, you record the launch night, then you can watch it without adverts and without annoying faff and just see the important bits! I'm working tomorrow night so I shall be doing that

I had somehow completely forgotten tomorrow was the launch night! hurrah! Unfortunately with me being at my mam and dads at the mo there is not a hope in hell I will get to watch it live (my dad practically comes out in an allergic reaction just to hearing the theme music) so I will have to record and have a later night viewing session!

Watched it last night, I'm going to watch the series too me thinks :lol:

I like monobrow (Nathan), the Aussie is pretty to look at, also like Shabby, Josie looks awesome, Steve is from Leicester *woo* and looks a proper nice chap, Govan *nuther leicester man* think looks a bit forgettable though, I want a Dr. Sunshine and poor Mario, he looks nice

Now, wonder how much that'll change over the weeks ^_^

I really didn't want to get into it this year, but less than a week in and I'm hooked already.

The sarcastic Big Brother (the one who voices the Tree of Temptation) cracks me up.

Not sure if I have a favourite housemate quite yet, Mario is quite likeable, as is Josie. I honestly think it could be one of those two who win . I also fancy Shabby, which is annoying, I always end up fancying lesbians lol

Last night's big brother was the BEST BIG BROTHER EVER. If Channel five keep it even half as good as this series has been it'll be brilliant

To be fair, this year's BB has been good. Now I've been forced to start watching it...

It's no 5. And it doesn't have the Marcus and Siavash-tastci-ness of 10. But it is good. It seems like they're just taking the piss a bit knowing that it's the last one.

Oh, and hopefully if it goes to Channel 5 we will see a welcome return of all the rampant nudity that used to happen. Everyone's been so prim and proper the last few years, then waps them straight out in Nuts. I fail to believe that people aren't flapping their bits out everywhere, just that Channel 4 got all puritan about showing it.

Imagine, Shell would have had hardly any screen time in the last couple of years...

On another note, this ultimate BB thing they're going to do. Who do you want to go in? Let's say one from each series. Name them. GO!

'Ultimate' Big Brother is worthless due to the amount of celebrities. Having any of them in is pointless - Chantelle, maybe, at a pinch if they had to - but to have 5 out of 11 renders the whole thing meaningless. The house could have been stuffed with interesting, aggravating people, and been a fitting send-off to what is, whether you like it or not, one of the mainstays of Bristish tv for over a decade. Instead, we get a pointless advert for failing careers.

As of writing, and apparently there are at least two more people going in, we have one from BB1 (who meets with my approval - Nick :adore:); one from BB2 (Brian - I hope he's calmed down, cos I used to hate him); none from BBs 3 or 4; one from BB5 (Nadia - get off my screen, you annoying, affirmation seeking harridan); one from BB6 (Makosi. I have literaly no idea why, when there's no-one in there for her to fornicate with*); one from BB7 (Nikki - literally an abortion of a human being); and none from series 8, 9 or 10, despite 9 and 10 having some of the best characters.

They have no-one in there to create any kind of interesting situations, unless they're relying on Preston and Chantelle to get back together/kill each other, neither of which I could give a flying #!$& about (although the live televised slaughter of one or both may slightly pique my interest), or John McCrirrick to verbally destroy Nikki, leaving her a simmering mess of a human being, rocking back and forth in a corner, no longer able to speak (which, actually, I would also enjoy).

The AWESOME~! list was ignored completely, and, considering the quality of some of the women that have been in there in the past, they've really dropped the ball on the sexy front.

It better be the Jungle Cats or the Irrepressible Dark Horse that goes in...
