So, we're less than a week out from the something-fest that is Loverpool, and Laura has told me I have to come up with an action plan. So here it is:

Friday: Meet in the Crown by the station as usual. Let us know what time you'll be arriving, and there'll be someone there to stop you looking like a lonely loser. Drink some drinks. Talk to people. Go back to wherever you might be staying that night. Sleep.

Saturday: Meet at Chavasse Park at Liverpool One (times to be confirmed when Laura tells me). The change of meeting venue has been hit upon with the intention of stopping everyone having to make a trip into town and back - this way, you get the one pass through, so we're a bit more linear. Of course, if you want to explore, that's all good. We have lots of awesome things here.

RAOK challenge/scavenger hunt. There's been lots of changes to it this year which will be revealed on the day. Jamie's put work into it, so even if you think it's lame, humour him. There'll be various points during the day to stop, meet up as a big group and have a little light refreshment.

Retire to the Pilgrim for an evening of fun and frivolity, including, but not limited to: Joinee Bingo! The Ex-Factor! The World Famous and not-at-all the-most-ridiculous-and-yet-incredibly-successful-way-of-making-ridiculous-amounts-of-money-out-of-pretty-much-nothing Title Auction! Eurovision! And many many more...

I've spoken to the pub as well, and they've told us that we are more than welcome to bring food in as opposed to having to exit en masse to grab some scran.

Sunday: Weather permitting, we'll have a barbecue and games in the park. Not weather permitting, as if I can't find an outdoor venue, we have an indoor one, there'll be archery. Again, I don't know times and that yet, but they will be happening. If anyone has anything else they'd like to do, just let us know.

Monday: Bank Holiday Monday. Again, it's pretty free form, so we'll figure out what YOU want to do. Cos we're nice like that.

So there you go - it's not flashy, it's not over organised, but it's fun. And constantly adored by all.

See you there.

Awesome.

Please all be assured that although we've been relatively quiet on here, there is stuff being organised and it will be an awesome weekend. I will forget all about the DIY hell I'm currently living in and devote every effort to your enjoyment. Promise!

Looking forward to seeing everyone!!!!!

Lou, where are you staying? Won't be worth you parking in town because that costs money, whereas all of us have parking near us that is totally free!

Um... as in 'bows and arrows' archery?! (As opposed to say something involving The Archers or something).

If so I will bring extra pants to pee in with excitement.

Thanks.

Last I heard Jamie was going to find me some space at his. I shall PM him now to see if he can offer nearby parking advice. Laura, is your phone number still the one that ends 5421? I def have K's number, so if I get lost I'll call someone! (I am most likely to get lost).

Since I don't know for definite I might be able to drop you off down there to meet everyone, give me a call when you get in. Otherwise one of us will be able to direct you

It has come to my attention that we didn't put the time we're meeting on here on Saturday.

Aiming for 1pm at Chavasse Park at which point all will become clear. But...I think there might be breakfast plans afoot prior to this in the city centre. If you need any other information, just give one of us a shout!

Dear all,

We're running late. By 'We're', I mean 'everyone else', and by 'Running Late' I mean 'has prevented me from leaving to be on time to meet people when we said we would, and thus have forced me to be late, something I hate.'

Rest assured I'll be there as soon as possible, with occasional cutting glares at the people who have forced my hand on this matter.

Still, at least you'll be in a pub, and so can get something to eat/drink.
