In some ways, it's been a bit of a disappointing one, but in other ways, not at all...

As far as I see it, the point of GGF has never been about making money for charity, it is just a happy coincidence that we do! So, *any* money is a bonus and shouldn't be sniffled at.

If you combine that with how relaxed and chilled it was due to a lower turnout than normal, then I don't mind the lower amount at all.

BUT. The bit I am very sad about and annoyed at myself for is that I lost the box of football stuff. It cost 165, which I was going to get from the pot at the end, as the sale of the football merchandise would have raised between 140 and 180 profit after the 165 was taken away. But, as it is lost somewhere, that 165 is having to come out of the main pot (very sorry folks, but as bad as I feel about having lost it, there is NO WAY in hell I am stumping up 165 out of my own pocket.)

So, yup, bear all that^ in mind and ignore previous years figures, and remain impressed even though it sounds way smaller than usual please!

We've raised 381!! Whoop-de-doo!

I think that's really good. This has been a hard year for everyone and there was about a third  of the usual people there.

In fact, I think it's BRILLIANT!

Any money that's raised is a good thing. Not sure what you normally raise but I think that's a good amount. Well done and cheers for a great weekend.

I'm sure that the hungry, thirsty, amputee, lonely, orphan, rnli charity, or whatever it is that Boo was convincing me it was, will be very happy.  Awesomeness.
