well, if somebody really very lovely wouldn't mind google map searching for 'Holme Leigh Guest House Liverpool' and then telling me if it's fairly close to where it's all gonna go down? i will send you sweets or something :)

Apparently it is about ten minutes away*

Yeah maybe dont stay there, it's in a reasonably rough area and not all that close to where we'll be most of the time.

I would either get a place in the city centre or near to sefton park.

Maybe this one? it looks a bit nicer and ullet road is definitely nicer and easier to find and it's really close to the park.

Or in town this pod hotel malarky is meant to be quite good.

For loverpool i'd suggest that you wont spend a lot of time in your hotel anyway, but you will be quite drunk (assuming you drink) and want a hotel that's easy to get to from Seans or town.

I've never been to a meet before. I'm just over the road in Manchester so this one seems like a good plan. What happens? Should I bring clean underwear?

Alas, the Welsh one is failing YET AGAIN!!!!!
sorry!!!!!
We're having my Nan's 90th birthday party on the Sunday... and family come first.
And on the Saturday I'm going to meet Maryann from True Blood.

Why does everything have to happen at the same time?

Things are a little up in the air at the minute about crash space with us. At the minute it's quite dependant on what happens with getting my house, so can't really commit any space at the minute. Don't know about anyone else in Liverpool though...

I am about 95% certain I can't provide any crash space - Loverpool falls in the middle of my exams so I shall be revising the whole time :( Though I shall of course pop to the pub in the evening :)

I am going to stay here. It looks really nice and bizarrely was the cheapest hotel I could find as a solo person (apart from the pods mentioned upthread, and I'm not sure I could do that for two days. I'm paying twenty pounds less than Premier Inn...and only fifteen more than a hotel with a one star review rating...). Round the corner from Lime Street (ideal as I'm training in and out, and also as I arrive on the Saturday), big enough that cabs should be a doodle. And brilliantly, the money I saved getting my train tickets in advance saved me just enough money to splash a little on the digs. Bring on the Loverpool!

Oooooh, I've always wondered what that place was like! It's apparently decked out like a cruise liner inside.

That hostel isn't in a bad place really, it's about 15 minutes from the park or to the cathedral steps.

In other news, if you want some crash space and don't have any confirmed yet, could you pm me please. Imma do some co-ordinatin'

It's looking more and more like I'll still have my flat here, but a little bit like I won't be able to be at the meet (or in the flat). But it'll be a bit of crash space for those who can prove themselves house-trained ;)

Erm...in the past we've had a BBQ and chilled out in the park on the Sunday. Some people will stay till the Monday, but there's not really much going on then.

Aw thanks sweetie.
I just realised I get Monday and Tuesday off work so if there was still awesomeness happening I'd have looked at joining the closing ceremony (so to speak!)... As long as I get my leave OKed I'm going to be in Liverpool for a gig on 8th(?) June, so I'm booking you to show me some stuff xx

Hmmm. I've just realised this is only a month away! I actually have to start putting some effort into figuring out things like how to get there and when and what not. Oops!
