Sorry for the very early nature of this post, but I'm just too excited about the following and want as many people to get the date in their diary.

Saturday 29th May.

The reason for the excitment?

Well I do believe that the date has been confirmed for another exciting event which made Loverpool 2008 pretty much the best night of a meet ever.

EUROVISION!

I far too happy about this fact....

I was convinced I have something on that weekend, but I haven't written it in my diary - so I've written this in on the blank page. So yeah, I shall do my very bestest to be there.
Any crash space available?

Ill check out my annual leave and see if i can get the time off!

Andy

If last year is anything to go by, make sure you book a hotel before New Years becasue (as we found out last year) the prices exploded as it is a bank holiday weekend.

Loverpool is the joinee event I want to experience, but since Eurovision is actually in Oslo and we know there will be joinees turning up here, it would be churlish to leave Norway on just those dates. So I guess I will have to wait until 2011 for Loverpool, but maybe we will have a mirror mini-meet here for the Eurovision this year?!

We'll have to see if we can get one of our resident geeks to hook up a live video link. After each song, while they play the little inserts, we can do the whole, 'Come in Norway, what was your opinion of the last song?' type thing. Could be awesome.

Very unlikely, of course...

The Vixster and my good self will be in Oslo at Eurovision (if not in the audience on the Saturday night then certainly the Friday night dress rehearsals, like wot we did in Belgrade last year, it still being awesome and a million times cheaper), having a little Norway mini-meet while we're there, so no can do Loverpool again, boo hiss. A web link might be a good laff tho :)
