Hello folks. The buffet is currently booked for 5:30, which falls within their "Happy Hour", and costs £7.50 per head. We have the option of moving it to after 7pm, when it will cost £12.90 per head if we want.

There is a slightly wider choice of dishes after 7pm, and you get crispy duck included in the price.

When would people prefer to eat?

(Sean, even if we stick with the pre-7, non-duck-inclusive option, we can speak to the staff about getting a portion for you, I'm sure)

I'd be happier with cheaper, because I'm still in stinjy mode, but will not make a fuss if we go for the later one. :)

Could you not buy a couple of sets of duck for the table? Would they do that? Hmm. I'm prone to leaning towards the later one, but I myself am fairly poor so probably shouldn't!
The greatest danger for most of us is not that our aim is to high and we miss it, but that it is too low and we reach it.

Never look down on someone unless you're helping them up.

What is the vegetarian and non-egg range like at each seating, do you know?

Sorry if that's being a pain, but hey I have to deal with wierdos / guests with special dietary requirements every day!

I'd personally be willing to chip in for a bit of duck, or go for the slightly later option. Crispy tofu just doesn't have the same ring to it...

Yeah, thanks for rubbing it in.

I am presuming of course that said duck is of usual Chinese Buffet persuation and not free range. If the latter I would of course partake but I fear not.

Given it's a cheapo chinese restaurant, I think we'll be lucky if it's actually a duck!

Firstly, stinjy is an amazing word! :D

Also, I'm in stinjy student mode too so would prefer to eat earlier.

For the record Vixie's a veggie and I don't care what food we have. Anyway I thought this was the Gypsy Truck meet, where's the discussion about how we're gonna bare pimp up some caravans this weekend?

Assume for now we're sticking with the 5:30 plan. If that changes I'll let you know as early as possible tomorrow.

Sorry I've been a bit rubbish with the organisation. It's been tricky to arrange things from Uxbridge. Darned inconvenient time to be sent on a 2 week training course!

Cool, thanks Neil. I'll drop you a line when I'm heading in, whenever that'll be, so that I can find you all :)

(Also I know I put a lot of ???'s in my last post, but I didn't mean to sound uppity..! Sorry if I did!)
