What was the restaurant called last year...? Why do I just want more creme egg shots?
Oh dear.
I would enjoy Pimms by the river again though. Definitely.
Edit: Typo.

Laura and I will be there, possibly with bells on if I can figure out how best to attach them.

Yes folks, it's almost time for Crispy Ducks again. For those who don't know, it's a twin-location meet which takes place over the first Bank Holiday weekend in May (2nd - 4th)
Saturday 2nd will be hosted by myself in Durham, and will follow the traditional format of meeting in a riverside pub (yes Annie, there will be Pimms), some sightseeing including a trip to the Cathedral for anyone who wants to explore the city, an all you can eat Chinese buffet at InShanghai (which will hopefully actually include crispy duck this year, as Séan plans to use it as an opportunity to cross duck off his list of 52 meats), and rounding off with another pub (yes Annie, there will be vodka jellies and creme egg shots)
Sunday 3rd will be hosted by Hannah and Jamie (details to follow)
As Monday 4th is a Bank Holiday, if anyone fancies making a weekend of it, I'll be around to act as tour guide for anything anyone wants to do on the Monday too.
I'll stick up a rollcall and list of hotels shortly.

I'll get a more detailed plan up later in the week when I have a better idea of numbers, but it will likely be any time from 1pm onwards, and nowhere in Durham is more than about 10-15 minutes walk from the train station

Totally love that Tara had already put herself on the roll call!
I believe I'm on the 2pm train from Lahndahn on the Friday folks. I have booked Jack Bauer for company currently but if anyone would care to join us, do let me know.

Excellent! It will be good to see you. You were missed at the weekend, particularly by that rabble who call themselves "Team South"
If you'd like meeting at the station, give me a shout.
