Looking at the weather forecast and the chaos on the roads and rail, I'm wondering whether it's still viable for this meet to happen.
With the conditions as they are now, you can't even get a bus in London or Birmingham, never mind travel between the two!

If it doesn't clear up considerably by the weekend, I think we'll have to call it off.

If you're in Brum already anyway we could still do something, (that's if I can get into town!), but I don't want people going through a whole heap of stress trying to get here if the current weather conditions prevail.

Thoughts please?

oh damn! Just as I'm able to go. Though I was saying to my mum on the phone 'well it depends if the weather clears up enough'
If you hear of something bad happening in Halifax... I did it!

I think I'll just play it by ear - if people can make it, great, and we'll still do something; if it's going to be a struggle, then stay at home!
So if you've got tickets, don't go cancelling them just yet! At least we haven't paid for a venue or anything like that, so we're not going to lose out. I just don't want people risking it if it's not safe!

I still plan to be in Coventry for the weekend, so will get across to Brum if weather permits!

It's not allowed to get too bad - I have an important mission on Sunday to a certain chocolate making facility!
