Congratulations one and all! (Proper thanks to follow as the adrenalin has run out and the list I pre-wrote is no longer valid due to last minute changes)

We have today raised a mahoosive...

£1794.95

Brief break down as follows (again, I'll do it properly when I've had a little sleep)...

Silver Box: The Auctions

£793.60

Red Box: Bar Change

£3.54

Blue Box: Darren's final collection

£20.39

Pink Box: Raffle

£63.38

Green Box: Raffle

£334.04

(and there are still a few bits to go onto the Just Giving Page. PMs will go out when, you've guessed it, I've slept.)

Well that's me off to bed folks. Or shall I pop the champagne?!

Thanks again,

£350 quid to the wonderful Mr Collins, who promptly donated it to the school who get the money we raised - so it was somneting of a double whammy and he deserves immense praise.

I really need to thank the other members of the syndicate for helping me raise so much money for the blanket.

I had made a decision early in the day to bid up to £200, but I really wanted the blanket to go to the school, so that they could see the beautiful piece of art that you had all created.

When I was starting to approach my limit, I was overwhelmed by people offering to chip in and help.

I'm ashamed to say that I was so merry by the end of the evening that I can't remember everyone who gave me money towards it, but I'm glad to say that I had the sense to put the money in a separate pocket to my spending cash! I was given £170 in total, and a promise of more to come from someone else, so as I'd planned to go to £200 anyway, as soon as I can bank the £170, I'll pay £370 into the JustGiving page so the charity's actually getting a little bit more that we thought :) (by the way, if anyone who wasn't able to attend K:VI would like to donate anything to the charity, the Justgiving page is open for donations)

Thanks again to everyone who chipped in, and a huge thanks to all of the knitters for being part of such an amazing thing.

Now I just need to work out with Danny how to get the blanket to the school.
