Although the meet is no doubt still going on, I've just got home and want to say a big thank you to everyone that made it possible. The venue was absolutely amazing, and the atmosphere all day was ace.

I had a lovely time and got to put lots of names to faces, and I definitely want to come to other meets in future, so thank you very much to everyone that organized today, helped and made it so enjoyable.

Thank you to all the organisers.

Thank you to the lovely Mandy for buying my painting.

Thank you to Danny for looking disappointed when I came over to say goodbye to some people, and then told me he liked my duffel coat.

And most of all, thank you to all my lovely lovely friends for being lovely and supportive and for giving me hugs. I shall not name names, as I fear I shall not remember them all. Though a special mention to Siobhan for being infectiously smiley.

[Edit] Corrected a name I remembered properly just after I went to bed.

Agreed.
Emily showed us her folder of paperwork, and all of the assessments and forms she's had to fill out and sign so that everyone could have the awesome time we did. Well done Emily! :)

Thanks everyone, old friends and new, who me and Elliott caught up with. Thanks in particular to all the aunts, uncles and babysitters who kept Elliott entertained (or were entertained by him) whilst I caught up with various old friends. I only wish we could've stayed out longer!

We'll definitely be out in the new year, with Laura if we can manage it, so the littlun will be out to charm your socks off and point a camera at you all over again. I've stuck Elliott's photos on Facebook - you know where to find 'em... :-)

Great time!

Almost everyone has been thanked up there, especially all the organisers but I would like to say Thanks to everyone who asked after Dot, and sent their love and wished her well, and she would like to say thanks in return and sorry that she missed you all.

Thanks to people for a lovely time, lots of great chats with old friends and some new ones (Glenn, Owen, Stuart, Boris and the Jones brothers amongst others), Joe for now being my personal IT helpdesk, Gatesy for being 'entertaining', old-skool joinees Si Brake and Gresh - legends who I had heard of but never met.

And I *still* haven't managed to talk to Danny.

But a BRILLIANT day :D

Elliot was ace! Anna thought he was cool especially.

I'd like to thank all the people who I hadn't met yet; Danny, David, Si, Elliot, Trent, Brett et al. If I forgot your name, I apologise.
Anna for being the most amazing birthday girl and not being too embarrassed(in person) when giving her birthday speech.
Team Jixie, Toby, Tim, Lou, and Giulia.
Add to that all the people staying round the HOABR; Lou, Shelley, Craig, Claire and of course Anna.
Siobhan for making me smile through her smiling with glee for the entire evening.
Mum White for the quilt.
Neil and co for buying it in the auction and donating it to the school.
And of course EVERYONE who organised. You are awesomeness!
And everyone. It was a brilliant, brilliant day.

Oh, and thank you Danny and nominator(s) for my silver. Really unexpected and possibly undeserved, but thank you!

Vixie and I had a fantastic time. My favourite Karmageddon so far I reckon*. Boo hiss to all the people who didn't go on the march, you really missed out - it was the smallest Karmageddon march I've seen but probably even better than last year's. So thanks for all the joinees (especially all the newbies/only-see-once-a-yearbies) who were involved in that!

Big hoorah for those that organised it, especially the venue which everyone agreed was spot on and the best so far.

*Despite a whole bunch of funky people being conspicuously absent :(

And thanks to Shelley, Buzz and Claire for being excellent fellow-guests. I had the much fun!
Thanks to BishBish for showing up when I for some reason wasn't expecting it
And Giu for making a reappearance
And Lipinski coz he's Lipinski
And Phil for the picture of Santa
And Del for the photo of Craig Bellamy

And Danny for being Danny
And ditto everyone else for the silvering nomination thing
And Brett and Trent for being lovely (and also Australian)
And Stuart and Dazza and Kate for being lovely (hope you enjoyed the rest of the night!)
And Boris and Foreman for being lovely (although you disappeared without saying goodbye! Swines!!)
And everyone for being lovely to my best-friend-Kate when she was there
And the Joneseseseses for laughing whenever I called them the Joneseseseseseses, and an extra shoutout for Davey who lets me called him Davey Jones when he must surely be so bored of that...
And Emily for absolutely EVERYTHING that she did, which I can't even begin to contemplate the massiveness of that job
And everyone else who pitched in for everything they did which again defies my tiny brain's contemplation.
And Toby and Team Jixie for hanging out with me and not-the-boy in Camden today. Was fun :)

Although most of the people I wanted to thank have been mentioned before...

Massive, massive, massive thanks to Emily who with her folders and clipboards and general excellence not only managed to organise the best K ever but also looked after me and dressed me up to make sure I looked presentable.

I would say that my golding was unexpected and undeserved.... but look at me. I'm amazing and deserve all honours that are passed on to me. I will however get a bit sentimental and just thank Danny for starting it all, so that 6 (or 7... I forget how the K numbering system works) years on I can hang out in a pub with a load of truly wonderful people. Also, thanks for the drink - THAT was an unexpected honour :P

Thank you to everyone who chose me over Elliot in Gatesy's great apocolypse or sex question.
Thank you to Gatesy for constantly telling me.
Thank you to pretty much everyone who talked to me, danced with me, molested me, snogged me, flirted with me, bought me a drink, high fived me.... you all enriched my evening just by being there. It is so awesome that once a year we at least get the chance to all meet up....
Thank you Elliot for managing to get drunk without vomiting on me or injuring me.

And finally, and most importantly of all. Thank you Anna, for your excellent cleavage :P

Just like to say thanks to all involved. It was my first meet, and i was not disappointed. The most fun i've ever had outside of a festival (similar vibe i thought, lots of people determined to have fun and spread joy, and hang the consequences!). Can't wait til next time.

You are all lovely lovely people (I'm getting emotional now, might cry!)

Thank you. x
