As is traditional, we'd like to do a "mass giving of christmas prezzies to the general public" again this year.
So, it'd be helpful if people brought along suitable wrapped gifts to give. Nothing hugely expensive - just nice simple gifts. Perhaps bring a few Christmas cards, too.
In order to save us the doomed task of trying to reach the entire inevitably-spread-out set of Joinees by means of shout, whistle or megaphone when it's time for the Mass Giving-Out, I'll be using my mass text-messaging system again this year. If a bunch of people sign up for it, they'll all receive the text signal the same time, and they can pass the information on to the other Joinees near them. (The same system will also be used to broadcast a reminder of when it's time to go to the pub!)
Ideally, I'd like to get about 20-ish people on the mass-text system to ensure good general coverage. (These texts won't cost you anything, I'm covering the running costs myself. Your number will only be used to send you a few texts during the day of K6 - after that, the database will be deleted.)
To sign up for the texts, just send me a PM telling me your mobile number and confirming that you'll definitely be at the group-walk bit of K6.

(Oh, and if you were on the list last year when we used it just for the Pub Alert, you'll need to sign up again - we really do delete the numbers once the day is over!)
