Friday daytime goings-on Who wants to do something?

Poll: Friday options (19 member(s) have cast votes)

Which would you prefer to do on Friday daytime?

  1. Lunch somewhere S Ken-ish ( Polish sounds good, but we could pick anywhere else depending on what people want), then museum (Dinosaurs at Nat History (rah!) or button-pushing at the Science museum get my vote). (16 votes [84.21%])

    Percentage of vote: 84.21%

  2. Tea at St Pauls, followed by London Walk (TBC), then swish bar. (3 votes [15.79%])

    Percentage of vote: 15.79%

Can a native please identify the appropriate eatery and museumery?

Otherwise I'll suggest a Wetherspoon's in Brixton or something.

Anyone got any suggestions for eateries? (The polish place seems fine to me) I really don't know that part of town well, so can't really suggest anywhere.

Anyone?

See above! Siobhan helpfully posted that link!

And what time do civilised folk normally partake in luncheon? Half twelve?

Hurrah! Shall we say 12noon outside or near the Polish place?

By the time we all get there, receive calls from those running late, arse around waiting for each other, go to cash machines, etc etc, it will actually be half twelve which would be a spot on time!

In my map of London it pretty much says "Here be Monsters" and thats about all.

I have a revision session on Friday, however, I might skip it and come gallivanting for lunch and Museum stuff. Ill be revising.....sort of....It will be a completely different subject to what I am studying.....but ill be revising.

Plus, might come in handy if I get a teaching position.

Pencil me in kids. :)

Silvar, If you could drop me a line thursday as to what your doing that would be great.

Boo to those who can no longer make it.

Right, the restaurant is here on Google Maps, and is called Daquise. South Kensington choob station.

See you all suspiciously near the restaurant at about 12noon? Or is there a better landmark?

The station is all of about 100m away, so it might be easier to meet there, for people unsure of themselves.

Hurrah! It's tomorrow! Well it's not it's today, but tomorrow is tomorrow.

I'll aim to be there 12 on the dot so I can meet people. I'll try to remember the list of those coming!
