I have come to speak of food
We need to organise some kind of picnic thing for the day time - Now the Hyde park debacles are normally relaxed with people just turning up with food, and we're not going to try and over complicate things but we would just like to make sure people will be bringing some food.... Becky and I are NOT Ben and Emily... and whilst we can cater for large groups, it is not an easy thing for us and generally leads to us being drunken wretches and throwin giblets at each other (as any of our Christmas guests would know...). It will therefore be lovely if we have an idea of who is bringing food:
Becky is using her skills as a buxom alcoholic to sweet talk some local bars into giving us an area to hang out in the evening - this will eliminate the trauma and confusion which usually occurs in Brighton Evenings...
Keep your eye on this thread and I will update stuff as I get my information....

I won't be there until late on Saturday but I could make some sushi for others to take down & then just turn up with flapjacks & cocktails in the evening.

Have just reserved a sizeable chunk of everyone's favourite pub, The Robin Hood, from 6pm on Saturday 12th July. This is impressive for a number of reasons: I actually ORGANISED something that only indirectly leads to alcohol and/or food; It being an open public house if more people show up, for example if someone pulls *laughs uproariously (sp?)* *remembers about scottie and stops laughing. slut*, then it makes no odds; they do homemade very reasonably priced pizzas for dinner; its on a street with 800 takeaways in case you dont like pizza; its on MY street with 800 takeaways so if anyone bottles you can go to bed (Tobias Clayton); and its a CHARIDEE pub- all the profits go to charity which is rather in the spirit of things, dontcha think?
Yeah baby. I'm da man.

OK so I did, a bit. *thinks*
OK so I did. But I was VERY drunk. (Can I be in charge of your phone for the evening?)

So does this mean we only need to bring enough food for an afternoon pickernick?

edit for typos, cause I might have had a few pints. Not so I don't notice mistakes. I'm just a bit slower. Alcohol impairs your typing, kids. Be warned!

confused. Are you after people to pick up your food from you on Friday and deliver it to everyone? Are you after someone to hang out with in London?
I shall be leaving london from victoria at roughly 6.17pm. If that helps with any of your plans at all, let me know.

I mean I will prepare food but am not coming down until Saturday night, so if someone can meet me Friday night & take it down with them for everyone then that'd be dandy. Doesn't need to be organised until a few days beforehand though.
