I can't see a specific thread for people's favourite memories of the weekend, so I'll kick one off.

My personal favourite was Martin accidentally eating a Green&Black's mini egg without unwrapping it, and then spending the next few minutes trying to discreetly pick bits of tin foil from his teeth :)

Tom going to fetch his cigar and by the time he'd reached it and stood back up - we'd scored the 4th goal.....so he lit it there and then!

 ....best bit, the foil. I've always been a fan of extreme eating ^^^

I have waaaay too many favourite bits....It was great escaping for a while and having a quiet meal with the bro when we were both feeling a little jaded ^_^ ....probably my favourite bit of the weekend, that.

As for funny moments....there are loads and loads, but i can't think of one in particular. I'll have a wee think :)

Shortly followed by me subbing on for Ole and finishing the match whilst smoking a fine Cuban :D

My favourite bit was probably the Team North team building outside the pub on Friday night, most notably Worm spraying us all with his pint.

Actually, no, it was seeing my boys (and Bing) show those southerners who's boss!

Hmm.

- The train journey and making the booklet of JOY
- The duck race - and Steve throwing his so it went the wrong way
- Sitting on Steve's legs as he and Anna worked as an awesome team to rescue the ducks (it was to stop him falling in the river - honest!)
- shopping and getting my awesome new ski jacket
- lovely chats in the pub
- Emily selling her wares in the pub
- a little bit of nose shouting in the club
- people being amazed by the versatilty of my scarf
- late night gossip session wit Jo and Claire
- Beauty and the geek
- Being amazed and drooling over the David Tenant life sized cut out
- The football, juts os many cool bits at that

Then it was less good until the train journey with the awesome company of Jo, Phil, Anna and Steve. And the crossword puzzles and so on.

All in all a superb weekend.

I remember watching Gerald McBoingBoing and Jane and the Dragon with Anna and Phil (via text).
And a whole load of general fun :)

I have lots of very nice memories, but my favourite is probably the Saturday night chill-out at the Trip - that was great.

The Team North annexe outside on Friday night was very pleasant as well.

Gerald McBoingBoing.

And "scoring" my first goal, holding my hands to my head in despair, and then seeing everyone else celebrating and then unconvincingly turning my gesture into a celebration.

Then wrong-footing Scotty for my second. That was awesome.

And winning the Modern Farming DVD for Toby.

And Rem trying to steal my shoes.

Oh, and being a leader. I was such a good leader.

:D Best bit has to be the excitement of the big bunch of emo kids in the middle of Nottingham when they were offered Easter eggs and various sweets. It all erupted into spontaneous hugging (prompted by Rory's tee shirt)

Waking up on Saturday morning and knowing that I was going to see everybody again!

Lovely chats with people I've not really had much of a chance to chat to before.

Scott nodding off and practically falling into his beer in Cookie club!

I liked when Stooz crawled on his hands and knees across a table, "ouch!"ing the whole way coz of his hurty shoulders, because it was the only get to get to me to say hello. That was nice. ^_^

I also liked when me and Jo had a little sleepie on the train.

And going shopping.

Being overwhelmed and happy with the orangeness of the room at the travelodge
Collecting ducks.
The return of the nose-shout
Happy emos.
Mr. Violinist man. And the fact he actually did come along to the pub.
4-1
Gaining an aunt and a mother apparently.
Being bought food and drink and generally being cared for post match. That pretty much made my weekend.

List compiled with help from anna. My memory is shot to pieces.

So much fun this weekend, top memories including:

Excellent chat with people I see/email a fair bit (Jo, Siobhan, Dan/Wilf, Steve, Anna, Rory et al), and getting a chance to chat with new lovely folk!

Giving candy to emogoth kids.

Mrs S teaching me the Pokiyo dance. I'm so breaking that out at the next school ball!

Tigger giving me an amazing massage. And a hungry hippo!

Lovely chats with Holly and Jude, who I hadn't caught up with before.

Heh. I'm so glad I decided to go to the Cookie Club - it was ace and I hadn't been dancing in far too long. Joinees have got amazing moves! I also loved the fact that I was wearing a work outfit in a club, which is sure to give me the giggles next time I don it.

Being Vic's backup when the Hammerdancefight kicked off.

Knowing the lyrics to far too many ludicrous songs!

Late night chatting with Jo and Siobhan. I see those girlies a lot, and every time I see them I  them even more.

Early morning chat and 'Beauty and the Geek' with J and S.

The walk of non-shame through Nottingham - where my bad geography skills turned a half mile walk into a three mile one!

The whole of the N vs S match was great. I was also amused by the fact that I'd tried not to commit to a team (as it were) for the whole lead up, but as soon as the ball was in play my inner northerner came right out. I'm so Team North. Being a cheerleader was aces, and I loved our chants. Especially the filthy ones.

4-1!!!!!!!

!!

Tigger getting (Wo)man of the match. My favourite shot had to be when wee Tigs belted the ball at one of Team North (one of the 6 foot plus boys) and they promptly fell right over. Genius!

Pub and Chinese fun - great to chat with new folk and get very VERY excited about Loverpool :D.

Getting 'somewhat' lost with Wilf while on a mission to find stuff and going on the giant Ferris Wheel! And loving the cheesey radio track. The whole 'being' miles up in the air, less so!

Good chat at the Trip.

Late night chat with Tigger, much of which was fairly filthy. She's AWESOME.

Lovely chat over breakfast on the Sunday, and hugs aplenty, before heading even further north.

I had such a lovely GGF - got to spend time with lots of lovely Joinees! Can't wait to see even more of people at Crispy Ducks and/ or the awesomeness that is Loverpool :D

Edited because backup and bachup are not the same thing.

I have a couple. Firstly, all the hugs...short people and tall people alike, the hugs were amazing and so needed. Thank you all.

Secondly, great to finally meet people properly, Rory, Del & Dot, Siobhan, Anna. Claire, you dont count cos we met in birmingham you 'nana.

Lastly, and no it's not funny enough to make the quotes thread, is when I walked upstairs in the pub and said "Ooh I've never gone upstairs before'! To which apparently everyone nearly died laffin', I could see the funny side but I knew what I meant. However it was the perfect opportunity to be accused of being a dalek or maybe even a cow...did you know about cows and stairs? No? Maybe you should ask Shiny about it sometime.

Well done to all those who are skilled in balloon shapes and origami, I was most impressed, though admittedly it doesnt take much.
