Bonjour.

I picked up a black wool scarf from the pub on saturday night. It's very warm and looks like a JJM special. If you've lost such a thing, let me know and I'll pop it in the post.

Postcards and letters
T-shirts and sweaters
Passports and Parkas
Mobiles and chargers
Two tennis rackets
Blue Rizla packets
A new sheep-skin jacket
I lost it all

All through my life there have been
Many rare and precious things
I have tried to call mine
But I just cannot seem
To keep hold of anything
For more than a short time
Possessions of a sentimental kind
They were mine, now they're not

Gym-kits and trainers
Asthma inhalers
Silk-cuts and Bennies
Ten-packs and twenties
C-class narcotics
Antibiotics
The holes in my pockets
I lost it all

When I lost my keys
you told me the words of Plato
That our possessions are only echos
Memories of fates
So, the things that you loose
are shadows or echos

You never possessed them
You never possessed them
And All we see are stars
falling from so far away
the things that we see
are just memories
of the things that used to be.

So as I leave you you'll understand
that nothing we have is real
we're just trying to get back
to the things we knew before
And those that we loose
are just shadows and echos

You never possessed me
Never possessed me
And All we see are stars
falling from so far away
the things that we see
are just memories
of the things that used to be.
Off. Back. Off again.

I have found a pair of gentleman's socks.

Well, not actually a proper gentleman's - if that were the case they would be silk or cashmere and they would be held up by garters.

They are blue I think. Just common-or-garden mens socks. I shall launder them and return them from whence they came if the owner would like to step forward.

Tune back in an hour for the next iexciting nstalment when I've tidied the living room . . .

Yeah sorry about that! We just #!$&ed off and left you too it. Bad house guests. Thank you for your hospitality, and I hope you find your living room floor again some time soon (I think it was last seen under copious amounts of chocolate wrappers...)

Not at all Jen! At least you did the washing up! You were wonderful house guests - it was lovely to have you to stay and I'm missing you all. Somehow, watching Space Pirates and infomercials will never be the same again . . .

Any time you cool kids want to come back and stay with the crazy shouty sweary lady with the cats, you're more than welcome!

Sorry Rach. That just made me laugh; not completely sure why.
