Hi Rach, is this definitely going ahead again this year??

I'd forgotten about buying stuff for the kids until this weekend, so I wanted to check before I went and raided ASDA (... raiding in a "paying for the items" kind of way..)

Yes we are Lou, thank you for the reminder!

Basically the guidelines/rules whateer are:

New items only, preferably still packaged (or BNIB in ebay-speak);
No food items;
No soft toys (I think it's to do with infection and allergen control, or maybe it's to stop people smuggling crack inside teddy bears.)
for DVDs - it's safest to go for U certificates.

Teenagers generally get overlooked, so anthing for this age group would be particularly suitable. And no, a crate of 20:20 and some Rizzlas is not exactly appropriate.

I will try and send something for this again. I could do with an address to post it to though as I am not coming to FabFeb. Will have a look round tesco tomorrow to see if I can find anything suitable.

I'm not coming to Birmingham until the saturday, due to another commitment I have made. I'll be there for when we all meet though. It won't be too late for me to donate the gifts, will it?

Marvellous.

I apologise for the lack of apostrophe in "Childrens". I'll amend it. It should go after 'Childrens' right? Coz it is the hospital of the children.
