Just so I can keep track of everyone, can you put your name here if you're staying at mine.

And can you say which night(s) you want to stay.

I do have some bedding but it would help a lot if you brought your own sleeping bag (and mat if you've got one - if we run out of beds it'll be floorboards)

And can you PLEASE confirm that you're not allergic to cats or live in mortal fear of them.

I'm sorry to sound officious but I've got a ton of things to do and I thought it best to keep it all together. I'm particularly keen that everyone knows about the cats because I would hate to be the cause of some allergy or asthma attack or some horrible phobic reaction.

Also - if you're making last minute plans and have nowhere to stay, I'm sure I can fit you in somewhere.

Gosh it's nearly here isn't it?

:)

Lou amd Wilf - thank you and duly noted.

Mr. Wilf sir - you can either have the futon or the mahoosive bean bag (it is big enough and comfy enough to sleep on, though I'm not sure about a gentleman of your stature!)

Awwww Rach! do you know how tempting this is?
I'm meant to be in London for a gig that day but don't think I can afford it AND as I haven't made a Brum meet yet.... ;P How much money would I need minimum for the day do you reckon? (like how much does Snobs cost to get in, where are we planning to eat...?)

Mr Steve C V Gray

Friday and Saturday pleaseums.

I have sleeping bag. Am flexible.
Human.

Edit: Oh yes, the cats. I like cats. They tend to stick their claws into me. But I won't sneeze or balloon up and asphyxiate or anything.
So yes. It's all good.

Joinee Michael. Friday and Saturday please ^_^

Have sleeping bag. Cats are no problem, except my aunt's which doesn't like me. But I assume she, cat or aunt, won't be there.

All looking good so far. Even better with the possibility of a little bit of Welsh sunshine thrown in!

Heulie - The Big Wok is a fiver, Snobs will be about the same. Then on top of that the usual cash for drinks, buses, raffle etc. The Old Joint Stock is about average for pub prices - not as cheap as Wetherspoons but not as expensive as a poncey wine bar. Drinks at Snobs are dirt cheap. No wait, they're just dirt. (Not really!)Taxi fare back to mine will be about a tenner so you're looking at about 3 quid each.

Go on Heulie, do it! doooooo iiiiiiiiit! And it would be even better if you could come to the gig on Friday!

Meeeeeee!

Definatley Staurday, maybe friday (will let you know ASAP). Sleeping bag and pillow, no wories.

I'm fine with cats as long as they're not the stooopid kind that decided the best place to be is right under your feet!

My cats are not stupid. Well George can be a bit special sometimes, like when he knocks on the cat flap to be let in because he can't summon up the energy to push it properly.

And I can't guarantee where they'll end up sleeping, but consider it an honour if they choose you! They really are both very soppy and affectionate. Ginny used to be a stroppy EMO teenager but she'e all cuddles now.

If anyone wants to say hello, they have their own profiles on catbook!

I don't mind where they sleep, but my friend's cat has a REALLY annoying habit of trying to walk right where your feet are. And then squeals when you stand on. But does it #!$& off to a safe distance? Nooooooo. It bloody goes under the other foot.

Stupid moggy.

Me! I'll be there!

Mr Adam C G Manning, on both Friday and Saturday please, I don't have any bedding but I can sleep nigh on anywhere (including on concrete or 2' of bed), and I love cats. They tend to like me too, so I won't be at all surprised if they decide to sleep on me.

You've been planning on saying that for weeks, haven't you, Michelle?! :P

And Claire - you may well be able to dump your sleeping bag in the function room at the Old Joint Stock. No-one else will h ave access to the room so your stuff will be safe.

Rach, is there any chance I could borrow a blanket chez vous, please? My awesomely tacky seventies sleeping bag has a HOLE in it (does that make it holy?) and I shall have no time to repair it....

Of course you can! I have at least one spare sleeping bag so you're welcome to it.

Rightio then folks here's a checklist of what to bring:

Sleeping bag and mat if you've got one

I've got pillows so no need to bring one unless you're fussy!

Shower stuff, shampoo, towels etc - I've got loads, feel free to help yourself unless you prefer to bring your own.
Girlies - I have a hairdrier and straighteners that you're welcome to bring if you need. (actually that's not just for girlies is it?!)

Booze - bring your own if you want a bevvy or two before going out on Friday. I've got a bit but I can't afford to get a load in I'm afraid.

Food - I'll do a big bad veggie chilli on Friday night and breakfast on Saturday. Sunday may have to be a Wetherspoons job!

If you want to bring munchies, sweeties etc, go ahead - there's plenty of people to share them with!

Oh and a DUCK!

I think that's everything . . .

No smoking in the house please - you'll have to use the garden.

Oo, borrowing a towel would be marvellous. I hate having to take towels with me (I'm sorry Douglas Adams!!) but they just take up my WHOLE bag. Gah my friend got the best H2G2 towel ever. I was jealous. But then, to be fair, she gave me the H2G2 tshirt that she won. (We both entered this text competition, and she won! but she wasn't actually a Hitchhikers fan, so didn't mind giving up the tshirt..)

Apologies in advance for the assault course that is my home - I've been trying to get it sorted today but I've been struck down by a nasty stomach bug. Hopefully it's not a repeat of the awful one I had between Christmas and New Year, but just to warn you folks - it may be a bit chaotic. As it usually is, cof course!

Can no longer make it. Quick story. Bedroom ceiling just caved in and nearly killed me (not kidding). Not hurt, on other side of room thankfully. This sucks not being able to come. Will give more details later.

Very sorry for late inconvienence.
