Leftovers. I bought too much chicken at the weekend and so my boyfriend made chichen and chips yesterday for lunch, and I did a roast chicken for dinner. Neither of us really like chicken that much, so i don't know what inspired this chicken-buying on Saturday - maybe I was hypnotised by the butcher? We have so much leftover chicken, and he's gone camping tonight so there's no one here to help me eat it. I'm also running out of ideas for things to do with leftover cooked chicken. And I've already had chicken with noodles, a chicken salad roll and made stock.

Hi Lilly :) Welcome to the forum, I love how you've settled in already, it's like you've been here for ages. It makes me smile ^_^

I think we need to keep an eye on your butcher fellow.... he seems to have sneaky persuasive powers!

So we've solved it? Egg before chicken? ^_^

Some tasty fast real Mex food. Not sure if I can go back to fast "Mexican" food.

That's right actually. My reasoning is that you can put an egg in a chicken put you can't put a chicken in and egg, ergo...

'Tis Friday which means that in my head a clown and a the Colonel will do battle for my heart and mind (and stomach).

Thinking the Colonel will win given he has the might of the Texan army at his disposal while the clown just has a criminal, some fri guys and an purple thing that looks like Barney on his side.

KFC Zinger meal it is then... :D

Alas the king is dead. Well. When I say dead he's just not in a location close enough to my office for a viable lunch venue. If he were I recon he'd take the Colonel and the Clown with one wave of his whopper.

Yum.

We're having Friday night chicken tacos. And beer. And coffee. And a movie called The Daisy Chain.
