The cinnamon and peach cake turned out scrummy. It was touch and go at one stage with the top cooking before the filling but it ended up all cooked and a nice crispy crust.

Food: Yau Nam Noodle soup followed by Fried Quai Due.
Company: 4 ex-cop buddies and one wife (current).
Conversation Subjects: Putting the world to rights and sarcastic banter.
AOB: Organising a sleep-over playing Wii Rock Band (4 over-50 men having mid-life crises).
It doesn't get better than that. Burp.

Where do you buy that from? My son has a peanut allergy but can eat almonds no problem.
I am eating weetabix with hot milk on. It's cold outside.

You can normally get it in any health food shop. Holland and Barrett definitely sell it.

I love Pie. Pie may well be one of the best self-contained food; pasties especially. Pie, Mash and Liquor is a fine, fine dining experience. I actually Mnom, Mnom when I eat it.

No. I have to say I very rarely watch the television, and pretty much never in the daytime. What was it about? Mum White x
Oops - forgot to post what I came here for!
I have just made an enormous pan of yummy, chunky soup made with broth fron the duck carcass from friday and the left over pork from yesterday, plus lots of vegetables and herbs. It smells delicious and I can't wait for dinner - crusty bread and a glass of wine with it, perfect! Mum White x

They were shopping for stuff for the programme - wine I think.
Pie, Mash and Liquor - all home made and an unusual Sunday lunch.

My recipe for low-fat sugar-free Carb-free strawberry yogurt.
1 pot low-fat or fat-free yoghurt. Any make will do but 'value' style works the same as any (55p in Tesco).
Sprinkle sweeter (Aspartame) to taste
Squirt of strawberry flavouring
One drop red food colouring.
Mix and pour.
For sweet lassi just use the youghurt and sweetner with a splash of milk and som ice.
Tastes as good as the expensive stuff.

I have had tuna sarnie for lunch with some worcester sauce french fries. I now want a snickers but the machine is bereft. May settle for bounty.
