Tim and Biddle were there. I have an ever so slightly homo-erotic picture to prove it.

Not that I'm going to post it, that is.

I'll post a picture of Biddle's feet instead. I seem to remember he was looking for some pussy under Chezzle's bed.

OPERATION OJS IS GO!!!

Rough translation - went to the Old Joint Stock yesterday, booked function room. Spoke to Alison the nice manager and when I gave my name, she said "oh yes! I remember you! You'll be wanting Edwin then won't you?"

Excellent.
I saw Edwin yesterday as well, so that was nice. His whiskers looked a little more streamlined but he was still his lovely self.

Oh in case you're wondering who on earth Edwin is, he was our waiter at the first FABFEB. He is a lovely lovely chap with a glorious moustache. And I have put in a special request for him.

So yeah, it's on. Hurrah and all that.

Yes Biddle rang me up in the morning and said "National Express is only £20.... come on we're off to Birmingham!"

I was worried that we'd have nowhere to sleep

"We're Biddlington" Elliot Cried "people will clambering over themselves to accomodate us"

So we went

It was fun fun fun till biddle punched me in the balls.

Ball Timmy, ball.
;)

Goodness was that this year? I thought that was last year. Quite right, it was Loverpool & Chester I missed this year. Well I'm still looking forward to it after missing several important events. I think a modicum more reservation next year. Only a modicum, mind... & no vodka.

I've been offered sleeping space at the Daddy House so I guess I'm going to HAVE to look into travel costs...

I will need to look at sleeping places sometime. I swear, people start sorting out sleeping arrangements earlier every year.

Lots of fun!

General RAoKing on the streets, hading out sweets, flowers, hugs.
Then we have a duck race in the fountain, where someone normally ends up going in to retrieve the ducks and getting soaked.
More RAoKing, and then on to the Old Joint Stock for more fun!

Adam and Stevie - sorry, didn't see your posts before. I didn't mean to offer Annie space at the exclusion of you!Yes, come one, come all, I have to warn you though that there are no carpets; I have a big living room with stripped wooden floorboards which look pretty but aren't very comfy. So if you've got one of those camping sleeping mats, bring that, and a sleeping bag. Accomodation will be basic but plentiful!dan - yes, tall people are most welcome. I already have Wilf staying and he is tall.*condiders possibility of hammocks*

Mr. Fowler - any chance of a separate section for FABFEB now tha K5 is done? I need separate threads for the usual fundraising/Raoking notices.Pleaseandthankyou.

As for activities, it'll be pretty much the same as last year - Big Wok for lunch, duck race @ Floozy in the jacuzzi, A small group (about 8) troop over to the Childrens Hospital with armfuls of toys, games etc, bit of Raoking/tea and cake/ whatever in the meantime, then the Old Joint Stock, then SNOBS!

There will be a primises raffle/auction in aid of the Children's Hospital "Red Balloon" appeal for the new burms unit.

So what I'm after is for as many of you as possible to offer a service/skill/gift that another joinee will benefit from. You don't have to be going to FABFEB to offer something, but it would help if you could give an indication of whereabouts you'll be able to fulfill your promise, or how far you're prepared to travel.

Stuff that has been offered before included (off the top of my head) the Jamins offer of a picnic which Helen got. Oh bugger that's all I can remember!

Most of the promises will be raffled off to give as many people as possible the chance to take part. The top 3 or 4 offers will be auctioned off on the night.

Anyway, if you have something to offer, PM me and I'll get in touch.

Cheers!
Rachel

Any indoor space where I don't have to lie on the cold, cold ground with sticks and stones protruding into my spine is good enough for me!

I will definitely be coming. Just wondering if there is any accomodation available with Joinees still left.

If not, does anyone know some cheap places to stay in Birmingham. I am planning on spending two nights if possible, the 2nd and 3rd. After having to leave K5 early, I don't want to do it again, missed too much.

Thanks

I have a rubber ducky but unfortunatly it holds sentimental value for me :( where would one go about purchasing one of these rubber bathtime delights?

Amazon has a pack for about £2 (plus postage if not buying anything else). I imagine you could also get them in toy stores.

Sainsburys often have them, as do the Early Learning Centre.

I'm half asleep as I write this. I know I went last year, because some of you lived in my house for a night. But I know I wasn't there for the whole time. Because I was rubbish. But I can't remember why I was rubbish.

Anyway. Hello! I'm back in England for the first time in, er, a while. I no longer live in Birmingham but since my soul seems to still be there, I shall try and make sure I go and collect it on the day of FABFEB. And then get drunk with you all. Deal?
