Just thought I'd let you know that FABFEB next year will be on Friday - Sunday 3rd February 2008.

And, you lucky lucky people, the fabulous KATE GOES are playing at the Rainbow on Friday 1st! Isn't that just ace?!

So that means that the Friday Thaiday won't happen but we could maybe do it on Saturday instead. Except it'll have a different name. But maybe folks will prefer snobs.

Other stuff will be arranged in due course. It will prpbably involve stuff for the Children's Hospital again. As for the Old Joint Stock, I don't know. It all got a bit silly last year didn't it? But there will definintely be a quiz of some sorts.

Who's in?

This may sound silly of me but where is FABFEB?

Meeky may attend.

Edit: Silly Annie. Bmi fly to Birmingham from Belfast. I shall look into this!

I haven't missed a FABFEB yet, and I don't intend to! But no Friday Thaiday? Poo.

I'll put this on the "maybe" pile. I didn't go this year because I was in the process of getting a job. I may miss a few meets next year due to other plans, so I'll want to make up the difference by going to other meets that I missed this year.

Marylebone to Birmingham - Ł15 return. Restrictions apply as to when you can travel but they are reasonable.

I'll be there!
But i live there!

so there you go.

There's a list of people staying with me for the small price of a bottle of beer or a bottle of wine! (some of whom i haven't told yet!)
not sure there's much more room but i'll do the calculations and let you know how many spaces i've got left.

Likewise there will be crash space available at mine. But I can tell that will be the least desirable option as I'm not so close to the centre and I don't have a balcony from which to throw apples :(

But I will have . . . .FLUFF!!!!

Of course we will! We will be taking petrol and matches, I mean toys and games, to the children's hospital. :-)

edit to add that I've been throwing a few ideas round with rich and this promises to be a most amazing meet!

Ah, the old joint stock. I remember it as being the first time of proper socialising with joinees en masse.
I pray for it's existence in FABFEB plans

I shall of course be in attendance. Now i've been once, i HAVE to go again. It's like law

I shall hopefully be there. Actually more likely now Susi isn't (becasue I hate her... not really) because that means mass cooley birthday celebrations are less liklely to clash.

What did you do to the Old Joint Stock this year? I knew I should have gone and protected Edwin! Did Biddle molest him again?

Can someone explain FABFEB to me? I'm guessing it's some kind of Joinee social? I'm in the Birmingham area (at Warwick Uni :) ) and can't really make it to Karmageddon (gutted!) as I run the union pub quiz every Sunday (all for charity :D) and I have no money.... so yeah a Birmingham based meet would be awesome...

It's basically the Birmingham Join MEet: Like Karmageddon, only on a smaller scale - Less people, but still doing a few RAoKs, some charity stuff, then going out and getting slightly sloshed.

I'm excited about this already. partly because it's my favourite time of year at the moment & it doesn't take much to get me excited, partly because it's merging with my K5 reunion excitedness & partly because I missed this years FABFEB.
Plus, I know some of the sketchy details & it's ALREADY good enough to qualify as a great weekend.

Yes, I remember you seeing your pint glass was empty and tossing it haphazardly over your shoulder, then later on pulling out your meat and two veg in front of a CCTV camera.

And shouting 'GREAT! NOW MY NAN CAN SEE HOW SMALL MY WILLY IS!', or words to that effect.

Plus I slept at Chezzle's place, and so did you, separately, I should add.

You definitely didn't miss it :P

Yes Biddle rang me up in the morning and said "National Express is only Ł20.... come on we're off to Birmingham!"

I was worried that we'd have nowhere to sleep

"We're Biddlington" Elliot Cried "people will clambering over themselves to accomodate us"

So we went

It was fun fun fun till biddle punched me in the balls.
