I can't believe it's two days after the main meet and nobody's done this yet.

So, big thankyous to:

Andy, Anna and Tim for rallying the troops in the first place.

The bringers of the inflatable pirate boat.

Picernic providers.

Bringers of rum, pimms, all other things booze.

Martin for being a great sport and not killing me when I smashed a strawberry on his face, and threw stones at his nads. Sorry sorry sorry!

All swimmers.

Rich for the hip flasks of whisky.

You ALL for being lovely - the old friends and the various newer faces I got to chat to through the day. I think it's safe to say that both Andrew and I had a thoroughly enjoyable day, sandshoeverymuch.

H.

xx.

Ahem. Twas a Sweeney provided inflatable death trap, but Sean helped blow it up so you're forgiven ;)

Thanks millions to the Sweeney's for putting me up, and obviously the Jamins for a lovely spread (and Anna made wonder-cake, so well done there too!)

Oooh! Ooooh! Ooooh! Thankyous! :)

In vaguely chronological order...

Thankyou to Becky for being such a wonderful hostess & welcoming us all with open arms (I don't get to hang out with you enough - you're ace)

Thankyou to K for thinking I couldn't be me when he passed me on the street because I was looking a)lost and B)a bit glum ;)

Thankyou to the 'Jamins for phenomenal food, as ever & to Mrs J for looking unbelievably sexy in her corset - go you, m'lady!

Thankyou to Vic for the first swim of the day

Thankyou to the lovely clean toilets on the beach which were a pleasure to pay 20p for. Clean public toilets? Woo!

Thankyou to the Palace Pier for having a carousel (even if the pier itself has very little soul) which was sooooooooooo fun. I haven't been on a carousel for yonks and I *really* enjoyed it

Thankyou to the Sweeneys for a very chilled evening, unexpected accommodation & for making sure I was in the right place at the right time

And thankyou to *everyone* who was there for making it what I consider to have been a ga-lovely meet

Brighton rocks....yarrrr! :pirate:

Abuse? I thought it was good advice.

Now, if you're saying it was intended as abuse... I may have to come back and drink all your rum as punishment. :P

this can only be sweet potato pie...the main reason I was gutted about not being able to go :(
The greatest danger for most of us is not that our aim is to high and we miss it, but that it is too low and we reach it.

Never look down on someone unless you're helping them up.

Thanks to the sweeneys for the put up and the ability to top and tail with Sean for a night - smooth as always - yet this time he didn't try to hump me - i felt almost rejected. Almost ;-)

Thanks to Andy for taking me for Booze and Kebab - especially when it later became clear i was the only one drinking! :-)

Thanks to Biddle of banter over a Beligan

Thanks to all those who indulged my childish and frankly innate need to throw stones at waves (bad waves)

Thanks to Emily for the spread which i never got around to nibbling on but which looked amazing, bolstered infitiniely by the use of BOY and GIRL plates :-) genius

To anyone who nattered aimlessly (or with aim) with me.

To all for a stunning weekend

(to whomever is responsible for holdin off the rain and burning my nose ;-) )

:pirate: Sorry it's so late, I've only just got to a net cafe! Thankyou to everyone for a fabulous weekend. Especially to Elliot for greeting me like an over excitably great dane puppy! It made me feel so happy, after our horrendous journey. Also to Kieran for helping with the car parking nightmare and generally being lovely. And... just everyone. See you all soon. Chilling in Cognac now with sun, cold beer and rocking blues! Love you all, Mum White. xx
