Hey people,

As some of you know, I've really not been very well over the past few months, and have been struggling with a *horrible* fatigue (physical and mental), which is why I've not been around quite so much as normal.

Thing is, it's got to the point where I've had to make a decision about whether I do take part in the 24 Peaks. We (nearly) all went up there for a training day a while back, and whilst it was great, it did give me some idea of what I'm capable of/not capable of at the moment.

Basically, I'm not up to it - I have no idea of telling if I'd be having a good day or bad day during the challenge, and being so wiped out has also meant I can do veryt little exercise so haven't been able to train properly.

As it is, I couldn't be sure I'd be able to complete the first day, let alone both of them.

I'm absolutely gutted about having to pull out, as this is something I *really* want to do. Also, it's upsetting because this time last year I was stood on top of the highest peak in S.E. Asia without a problem. I know that when I'm well I'm capable of it, but at the moment I'm just not.

Sorry guys.

Will be thinking of the rest of you every moment of that weekend though, and wishing that I could be sharing it with you.

H.

xx.

Oh, Holly, I'm really sorry you're not feeling well at the moment. It's absolutely the right decision, though. You get yourself rested and feeling better, and you'll be back up and raring to go soon enough.

Imagine fighting the power of the gods with flashlight batteries! Needless to say, it didn't work, and everyone died.

I know you really wanted to do this but you can't help how your health is.

You just concentrate on getting well.

Absolutely. I think that's a good, sensible and applaudable choice Hols.
Perhaps we could be a cheering squad instead?
