I always need somewhere to go grrrrgh so I thought it was about time we had somewhere (I did a search and couldn't find any threads)

I missed my bus
There's a staff meeting today
I was running late and forgot to iron my shirt last night so am wearing the only shirt that was ironed and I don't like it today

The cute boy who I see reading good books on my way home has a girlfriend (or so it seems, he was WITH a girl when I saw him this morning...one of those cute Asian gilrs who like funny looking white boys)
He's really skinny, funny looking and has a bowl hair cut. He was reading a Terry Pratchett the other day. I couldn't see what it was though. I kept pointing Guards Guards towards him hoping he would talk to me......I am so odd

curses to the rum..

also that I'd spent my dinner money on the taxi home..

not a good start to the day.

My head. I hate my head. It is pissing me off no end. But getting rid of it doesn't seem like a viable option. Coz then I'd be, well, dead, really. And - although my head is messing with me - that doesn't sound very good, really.

Expecting a quiet bank holiday at work and getting to play on my DS all day, then being greeted with "We're putting you on inbound retention, but you can only spend £xxx on each customer." There followed a day of moaning people. No sir, you're too poor to own an N95.

I much prefer this thread to the "made you smile" one, as being miserable and moaning is so much more rewarding!

Stupid $!&#ing ignorant people.

I've got an essay on Aboriginal identities to write... and so I was looking at related films on IMDB (coz I was quite sure that a pretty Aussie actor boy was in a suitable film, and lo, he is. Yay. An excuse to gaze upon him!.... if I can find it... I probably can't.) Anyways, so then I was looking at the message board for Rabbit Proof Fence to see what people had said about it..... and someone had started a thread saying that the Stolen Generation of Aboriginals in Australia was a good thing. That it was "for the good of the children" etc etc etc. And then it all just got worse and worse and worse from there.

It's astounding that people like this are still out there (there wasn't just the one person posting that stuff on there, there was others - "why the hell should I care what happened to them back then? It wasn't ME that did it. It's nothing to do with me!!! They should get over it." etc) ... it's just ridiculous. And then the original poster was being all "oh you bleeding heart do-gooders" at the people going "well, um, NO.... tearing children away from their families and bringing them up in orphanages wasn't exactly a good thing, surely?"

Gah.
