I am hoping someone will be able to point out something glaringly obviously wrong with my maths, because if not it isn't good.

I have 1 wristband
I have posted out 5 wristbands
I have lest 51 wristbands with Jamie to sell
I have 113 wristbans left.

That adds up to 170 and as I started with 250 it means 80 were sold at GGF.

80 wristbands at £3 each adds up to £240 and I know several people paid extra.

Zena has £66.87
I have £143.71
and Kieron owes £3 which he is giving to Zena

That adds up to £213.58

Someone please tell me I have added something up wrong or missed something and I'm not actually a load of money short of what I should have.

You have either been shortchanged by the wristband people or.........

..... there are some light fingered people amongst us,..... or that were hanging around us....

All the money (that I had) was in an inside pocket in my bag. Having said that when we went to the nightclub I put my bag in the cloakroom. I thought it might be safer there but then I suppose it could have happened there.

I am pretty sure I did have 250 bands, it wasn't the company. Having said that I find it hard to believe we sold 80. How many people were there? A couple of people bought 2 and someone bought 4 but other than that everyone bought 1 and there were a few people that didn't buy one.

I am now wondering if some bands were misplaced somewhere. They are in bags of 50 and I am wondering if perhaps I had a bag of them selling them then put it down somewhere and left it.

If anyone discovers a bag of wristbands among their stuff (I'm thinking particularly team notts who must have had to gather a load of stuff up) let me know and put my mind at rest will you.

Did a couple of people buy some but not yet pay for them? I remember, for instance, that Heather took one and promised to pay you back. She may've later at K4, or it could be that you're still owed some?

Heather gave me the money today as did several other people. Admittedly I couldn't remember that they owed me money. I was pretty drunk yesterday (hence wondering if I have put the bands down and left them) so it is possible that more people owe me money but I don't think so and certainly not that much.

I think I am just going to have to put it down to experience and top it up myself.

If you offloaded 80 and you're only missing money for 9ish... It's possible.

yes true but as I said several people paid more than the £3. I remember a couple of people giving me a fiver and saying they didn't want the change. I have just been going through who was there (using the roll call to help) and I think it is increadably unlikely we sold 80. In fact I'm sure we didn't so I think the main theory has to be me being a drunken idiot and leaving the bands somewhere.

That being the case it is my own fault. I just wish I knew how many we had actually sold for working out how much I take back towards the cost (80p per band)

At one point, someone (twinkle?) had sold a load of them for you but had put the money for them directly into the cash pots for the raffle - rather than bringing it back to you, which meant you wouldn't be able to sort out the 80p each deduction to cover the fact that they were expensive to get made up.

I'm not sure how many bands that person sold, but might that be the "gap" you're looking for?

yeah, I'll have to talk to sam about it. That was what she told me so I had intended to just work out how many had been sold as I have and assume all the money I didn't have had gone in there but then today I was told that they had the wristband money from twinkle separate which is the money I have stated Zena has.

If it is a case of that isn't all of it and some went in with the raffle money that will explain and I can relax.

Ummmm...I don't think this is much help, but I gave all the money in and put wristbands I had over back in the box.

This means I will have to estimate how many were sold to figure out how much to take back. I recon 60 would be about right 60x £3= £180 leaving a margin of £33.58 for the extra people put in plus 1 that has been sold since = £48.8 for me to take back towards cost.

That makes £164.78 raised by wristbands at GGF.

Are there, by any chance, any still left? Because for some reason I missed the wristbands being sold on the day. :(
