Aside from the fact that there's a whole raft of joinee women who I really need to give a bit of double pink loving too, is it wrong that I may be going on a first date with somebody from an internet dating site, and that that first date may actually be GGF? We were chatting, she asked me if I wanted to go for a drink this weekend, I told her of my other plans but said she was more than welcome, she seems keen......

This is out there even by my standards.....

Unless you bring your cat on a leash?

Actually, that would be pretty cool is someone randomly brought their cat on a day out ...

Hey, anyone who'd be up for GGF on a first date sounds pretty promising to me.

I say go for it.

That's what I was thinking. And if we don't really get on, it probably won't be a problem either as we can bot hkeep amused. She's gone very quiet anyway........ I think she may have actually thought about it!

She kills everyone you know, cripples you so you cant fight back and then proceeds to torture and torment you for years to come while reminding you of how you failed to save the lives of those you knew at GGF.

I actually know a couple in New York who have this sort of relationship. They're due to be married in Autumn 2008. None of the rest of us can figure out if we're better off telling him he's being had, or let them sort it out for themselves... not to threadjack or anything.

Carry on.

Bit of an update. She's coming. She was coming on saturday after her hair appointment (girls, eh?). But she managed to get that done tonight, so she's coming for the full experience. Party train, football, everything. So be nice to her - even if I'm not. ;) Her name is Karen, and regardless of whether me and her get on, I think we have a potential new joinee on our hands........

No! No updates! My private life is private!

Only joking. We will be seeing each other again. It's likely that we will be the death of each other though, what with spitting beer at each other, playing 'bogeys' in the most inappropriate places and making bets where the forfeit is to 'run around the block naked'. I lost by the way, so will be doing this soon.

She said you were all lovely too. And thanks to everybody who made an effort to talk to her and make her feel welcome. But special thanks to all those who avoided us in the pubs and made us feel like we were two kids snogging behind the bike sheds at school.

Yeah sorry I never chatted more, Stooz - so many people I didn't get round to speaking to. But from the brief chat, Karen seemed very nice, and it was impressively brave of her to come along to GGF as a first date. Definitely a good sign.

Hope all goes well for you.

Though with the array of gorgeous women you already had in your room, I must say it was slightly greedy to bring your own as well!

If i remember correctly, which through the drunken haze which was my weekend i very much doubt, Mr Stooz had to keep Lucy's head in one piece without damage or nibbles to prove he was a caring enough chap who could warrant the beautiful lady's hand.

I vaguely recall informing him that one of Lucy's eyes had fallen off and him saying "I have only just met you today, and already i hate you"

yea! And Stooz insisted that he recieved Lucy's head with an eye missing.. but we belived none of it. And someone (looks around innocently) suggested his pants as a place for safe keeping of it.

I was told.. 'no way, it'll melt instantly. It's HOT down there!'

Okay, okay. All the above is true. Although I had forgotten the Lucy episode at the cash machine. And Amanda, I apologise that that was the ONLY thing I said to you all weekend. Lucy's head made it home in one piece and is still intact as far as I'm aware. You all asking about when I next see her, let's just say I haven't really missed her since the weekend. ;) We both work in Docklands, so lunch has been easy. She sends her regards to you all.
