My Fab Feb

I've not been on the forum for ages. Not because I don't like people, or because I've had a falling out with anyone.
It's simply been because, well, I don't really know. I needed a break, and then that break just became longer and longer, and before you know it, I just wasn't bothering any more.
Now I don't particularly think this is a bad thing, but I'm not saying it's the way to go either. I had a break, that's pretty much it.
But on Saturday, within 5 seconds of turning up, I knew just why Joinees are the best people I know.
As I try to sidle up unnoticed, I see a giant man, a Wilf shaped silhouette, point at me, and shout my name.
Before I know what's happening, another load of people are shouting "DAAAAAAAAVEEEEE" and I am being hugged more ferociously than I think I have ever been hugged.
Without meaning to sound all soppy and crap, I honestly felt so thrilled, so welcomed, and so genuinely liked that I didn't quite know what to do.
You guys continually amaze me, much as I amaze myself, but that's because I'm ace, and you know it.
Anyhoo, I took some pics.
They are here.
I also took some photos at the Childrens Hospital, when we went to give the presents. Thans Rach, for asking me to be the official photographer. I felt all special, and not in a bad way. I hope that some of them are to your liking, but I've PM'd you with details of those.
So, sit back, relax, and enjoy the fruits of a job well done, as last Saturday firmly planted Fab Feb at the top of my fave meets list.

Well, I know *I* certainly do. I think the others probably do too. I strongly suspect that they do.
It was BRILLIANT to see both you and Clare again. Hopefully see you again soon...!! xxxx
