I have been listening to a beautiful guitar instrumental version of Fortunate Son. It's lovely and relaxing and really calms me when I study.
Thank heaven for that repeat button.
What if I was back in the cassette days? Grrrrgh.

I thought the 'cassingle' could have been exploited more; I had two - Fine Young Cannibals' "She Drives Me Crazy" and Biz Markie's "Just a Friend" (oh baby you, you got what I ne-ed.....)

And somehow a rock has made its way into my throat.
It was written by somebody else, but Leadbelly covered it and remarked: "I didn't make this but I'm gonna do it. A man he had a pretty wife..and she went and losed her mind about her husband. We'd go out and play for the insane asylum people & they would dance. She was there and her husband would go & sing to her and 2 weeks after he sang this song, she came back to her senses and they got back together. That's to show how music can bring you back...if you ain't too far gone."

I'm liking these guys right now https://www.facebook...ficial.BandPage they are a Norwegian Art Rock band. In my opinion Norway's music is generally underrated and the U.K should pay more attention to all the different genres and movements coming out of the country.

It should be mentioned that as timely as this appears, this sketch is from 1997.
