Hi there,

I'm up for taking part in this in any way I can - will try to come along on Tues to see what its all about but I might be out dancing so not sure. I could always get the details off Martin or holly on Thurs?

G'wan! Come along (and join us in the 24 peaks too!), but yep, if you can't make it for dancing reasons (!), I'll update you on Thurs.

There's a new dancing night starting up in Ealing - some sort of salsa/jive mix thingy which i'd obviously be very good at, but I could always go next week - I think i'll come along instead (I heard Martin will there)

P.S. I'm very unfit and my feet get sore just walking down Oxford street so I doubt i'd be much use but willing to give it a go!

Cool!

Fnu - mistype of fun. Constantly doing it, so now cut out the middle man and go straight to fnu.

Bacon Sandwiches for breakfast, Cakes for snacks and a Jammins Tea party in the afternoon please Emily :D

You know I would be delighted to do all of that, but in the interest of actually being able to MOVE I think it best I don't. Perhaps some of my home made museli for breakfast, muchos kendal mint cake, and then maybe a proper greedy tea of cakes etc. when you've finished. Otherwise, Danger (or at least heart burn) could indeed Strike!

This may sound daft, but should we have a thread saying who's doing what? As in a Roll call thingy?

Oh, stuff it, I'll do one! I've done one, and then asked for it to be deleted. No worries!

This is exactly the kind of thing I'd love to attempt if I lived anywhere in the vicinity. I need to get back to my former athletic self. The company would be enjoyable as well. And of course doing something good. :)

Best of luck to you all. I'll do my best to sponsor you when I get back on my financial feet. :)

Being 15, and having a slight deformity in my legs, i can't help out with the 'doing' but im doing a sponsored silence and ul be getting half the money raised. the other half is going to my school which is helping to refurbish a science lab for our partner school in Namibia. i'll get a thread up soon and any sponsors would be awesome!

Wow - i hadn't even seen this thread before. Is it too late for newbies to be co-opted on?

I've done a fair bit of going up and down in the lake district, and should have enough bits n bobs (army boots, rucksack etc). i've been fitter but can still do a half marathon in 1hr 47. I'm also going over to Ambleside tomorrow if that helps swing it for me? ;)

Only prob is that i'm up in Newcastle so unless you're doing a practice in the Lakes i'd probably struggle to meet up with most of you.

How much in sponsorship am i looking for?
One good post a year - guaranteed

Hi Chris - I'm afraid the team is pretty much set now!

We're always looking for sponsors though - the team as a whole must raise £5,000 - no individual sponsorship targets!

Cheers,

Dan..
