I'm up for taking part in this in any way I can - will try to come along on Tues to see what its all about but I might be out dancing so not sure. I could always get the details off Martin or holly on Thurs?

G'wan! Come along (and join us in the 24 peaks too!), but yep, if you can't make it for dancing reasons (!), I'll update you on Thurs.

P.S. I'm very unfit and my feet get sore just walking down Oxford street so I doubt i'd be much use but willing to give it a go!

You know I would be delighted to do all of that, but in the interest of actually being able to MOVE I think it best I don't. Perhaps some of my home made museli for breakfast, muchos kendal mint cake, and then maybe a proper greedy tea of cakes etc. when you've finished. Otherwise, Danger (or at least heart burn) could indeed Strike!

Oh, stuff it, I'll do one! I've done one, and then asked for it to be deleted. No worries!

I've done a fair bit of going up and down in the lake district, and should have enough bits n bobs (army boots, rucksack etc). i've been fitter but can still do a half marathon in 1hr 47. I'm also going over to Ambleside tomorrow if that helps swing it for me?
Only prob is that i'm up in Newcastle so unless you're doing a practice in the Lakes i'd probably struggle to meet up with most of you.
How much in sponsorship am i looking for?

We're always looking for sponsors though - the team as a whole must raise £5,000 - no individual sponsorship targets!
Cheers,
Dan..

I can offer up a double airbed at least as crash space, Hubby has volunteered to meet you up top somewhere with tea and stuffs and we'll supply kendal mintcake
losing the feeling of feeling unique if you know what I mean - #!$&ing loving Panic.
