You have no idea how relieved I am to hear that
Firstly I reckon about twice as many people'll come now
but also I thought I was going to have to put on a jammings esque picnic all on my own. A daunting thought indeed
And yes Ben - definately grow a beard

I've moved the roll call to its own thread so this can beabout the general chitter chatter and excitement of Brighton.
Also If I make enought Brighton Threads I might get my own section of the forum - which would be exciting (There are 3 Brighton threads up now Matt Fowler.... THREE)

I'll dig out the old flag for a re-hemming! And how's the trophy Tim? Ready to defend the title? Does he need a little sprucing up for the occasion- let me know!
All being well 'Jamins will be in attendance on the Saturday! (I have booked special birthday surprises for Ben on the Sunday- last train is 11.02 arriving london 00.37). Expect we'll get the 10.36 to arrive in Brighton 11.27.
Also being well, we'll bring along a massive picnic for everyone again! Could veggies and veganishes please PM me?

Seeing how Dougary LeSuave (the name I gave the trophy) has spent the whole year in prize of place on my desk where many have ogled it but none have touched, he is in very good shape.
If however you do wish to tweak his outfit - maybe with new accesories just say the word and I shall bring it.
Also as I am going to be in ostume I will be an unfit judge so if 2 or 3 none fancy dressers wish to be judges please PM me.
I'm just wondering how to deviate from my last outfit....

I do have a few quiries for last years beach sleepers. I know there was much talk of it being cold and uncomfortable, but if i did choose to take on the beach i would be in a 2 man tent with a 2 season sleeping bag, would i be better prepared than the people who suffered with the cold last year? Will anyone be doing it again this year?
Alternatively if any brighton resident has a 2.5 meter square of garden they would be so kind as to let me pitch on I would be extremely grateful.

The only possible answer is....GO! GO! GO! Have a tent that could possibly be lent but would need picking up, or Biddle-carriaging (it's a handy new form of transportation, much better than DHL or Royal Mail) - let me know if it sounds like a plan.
Oh, and while I remember: yay for pub with sweets! It's legendary!

It really wasn't that bad. I was quite poorly and I was fine. All the moaners were just wimps. But then it might actually be cold and wet, given that it will be a year later and hence I couldn't guarantee exactly the same weather.

Alternatively I'm sleeping on the beach. Did it last year and was v comfortable and warm - with just a foam mat on the pebbles and a 2 season mummy sleeping bag and no tent. Others were cold but they were the ppl with nothing whatsoever, other than their diminishing levels of alcohol, to keep them warm. So if ppl wanna beach sleep then go for it! And if ppl are worried bout there not being enough ppl to sleep on the beach then i'll join you and ditch the campsite.
See you lovely ppl in a week!!!!
