Edit:
And obviously a huge well-done. That goes without saying.

£350. Neil Collins bought it and then donated it straight back to the school

I had made a decision early in the day to bid up to £200, but I really wanted the blanket to go to the school, so that they could see the beautiful piece of art that you had all created.
When I was starting to approach my limit, I was overwhelmed by people offering to chip in and help.
I'm ashamed to say that I was so merry by the end of the evening that I can't remember everyone who gave me money towards it, but I'm glad to say that I had the sense to put the money in a separate pocket to my spending cash! I was given £170 in total, and a promise of more to come from someone else, so as I'd planned to go to £200 anyway, as soon as I can bank the £170, I'll pay £370 into the JustGiving page so the charity's actually getting a little bit more that we thought
Thanks again to everyone who chipped in, and a huge thanks to all of the knitters for being part of such an amazing thing.
Now I just need to work out with Danny how to get the blanket to the school.
