So, for those of you who like to know here are the details for the venue we will be frequenting for the evening:

Pitcher and Piano Mayfair

10 Pollen Street, Mayfair, London, W1S 1NQ

Map

• The venue is booked as a private event and will be for the sole use of K:VI ticketholders.

• Access for ticket holders will be from 3pm to 11pm.

• Professional security staff will be joining representatives from Join Me on the door to control entrance.

• The full bar menu will be available from 3pm to 10pm, which includes sandwiches from £5.00, burgers from £7.75 and puds from £3.95. The menu can be viewed here…

Menu

• Drinks will be available throughout at average London prices, including (my faves)…

Kir Royale at £6.50,
mocktails from £3.00,
white wine from £3.65 / glass (Pouilly Fuisse £22.00 / bottle), red wine from £3.65 / glass (Chateauneuf-du-Pape £24.00),
Champagne from £6.25 / glass (Dom Perignon £99.00 / bottle), bottled beer from £3.35 (Peroni £3.55, St Helier £4.05),
draught beer from £1.55 (Staropramen £12.80 / jug),
and JagerBombs at 4 for £12.00!

• There is a main bar area and several medium to small rooms including booths and sofa areas. There will be a video replay to plasma screens in the more secluded areas so you can see the action from the comfort of your armchair.

• Some small areas will be reserved for the use of those who are fundraising and need a separate space (auction and raffle things, audiovisual control etc.) and we ask that you respect this and don’t get comfy anywhere that has been reserved.

We also have the basic details up on the web at http://www.joinees.org/k6/ - as well as the link for the Web Ticket System (remember - no ticket, no pubbage!)

After the weekend, I should have available my usual "photo-story for the easily bemused" set of directions for how to find the pub.
